OriginalWell, 2 and a half years after my former post on these, I would like to add that Mistmoore Granite seems to drop quite a lot near the Kitchen room (16 on eqatlas), especially from the gargs in Gargoyle Room (between rooms 11 and 16 on eqatlas), and from the 2 in rooms 17 & 18.
Saw may be 10 drops during the 90 mins I spent there.
Good thing because if you are looking for this, you might want the Dark Cauldron droping from the Ancille cook in the kitchen!
10 drops in 3 cycles of Cooks to get the 2 cauldrons, enough for all the Ronium you need for the complete set!
Actually, finding the Melatite was in my opinion much Harder...

Gargoyles are in the DE camp where the pally epic mob pops near the spa room.
Has anyone seen these gargoyles since they were moved to Lesser Faydark? I have tracked all over the zone and not found one. Nor could I find Thistle Underbrush (the main reason I was in there).

I am also looking for these. I understand that both Rangers and Paladins require these for quest armor, and I have a Pally which is on quest for armor of Ro.
Does anyone know where the gargoyles spawn nowadays after Mistmoore revamp? Have been hunting the camps at Lesser Faydark for a couple of weeks now without avail.
If anyone has a spawn loc, time or PH, would be appreciated.

I think this stuff can be foraged in the LDoN dungeons. My ranger has a pile of it, unless I have it mixed up with something else...

Got 6 of them yesterday night from different Gargoyles around the Throne Room.
2 hours for getting all 6 for Ro armor.
Soloing this part of the castle at 51 was easy with KEI. Some light Blue, everything else green.

Picked this up off of a Leering Gargoyle in Mistmoor in the foyer tonight (12/6/02). Had no idea what it was used for. Oh, the gargolye was yellow at 33 and hits in the 50's.

They seem to drop off all the Gargs in Mistmoore with me.... Hmmmm....

oh contrare! i have killed maybe 5 of the grinning and sneering gargs at the ent to Lfay that have had a mistmoore granite on them.
maybe ur just unlucky P

i have also looted MM granite from the gargs at the bottm on the ramp twice
I have not had such luck. I beat on everything and forced my way up the ramp and into the castle and came out two hours later still Graniteless. I did however loot an insane amout of coins and a few nice gems :) I will try again tomorrow I suppose, I want my armour of Ro so bad I can taste it.

I got one on the bottom of the ramp in what? 10 kills? Sounds right

Mistmoore Granite does definitely not drop from the Gargoyles at the Ramp (these are grinning and sneering ones). I killed at least 100 of them by now and did not find granite on them. Maybe they drop it, but then it is so rare you should not count on it.
I was able to get two Mistmoore Granites by now. Only with the help of high level people who were kindly enough to help me get inside the castle. I looted both of them in the secret tunnel next to the Ambassador Room leading south. This seems to be the best place.

They drop off Gargoyles outside the Castle also. Was there on a raid this weekend and saw plenty dropping just below the ramp and near the path to the cemetary.

yes they are no drop.and further more they are only dropped off gargoyles inside the castle mostly off leering and jeering gargs.the ones closest to the maid and butler rooms tend to drop it the most.
