I Got one of these of a Scaled wolf pups, in the field of bone, but I had killed about 100 of them before it dropped, so it must be a VERY rare drop off of those. I hear that it is much more common of a drop off of the Scaled wolf Cubs, Scaled wolfs, in the same zone, but thats 3rd party information, so I will check that the next time I sign on. Also I saw someone wearing this coif, and it looks damn cool! its like an iksar with Black antlers.

i just killed a scaled wolf hunter and it dropped two. either i was lucky or loose scales are common on them.
