anyone have one and can confirm which mob drops it? unlike a few others i dont consider this junk for my level, would gladly regulate my lodi shield to the role of EB item if i can get my hands on one of these.
HAHAHAHA, Zerg force inc.. how appropriate. but no.. this shield isn't crap for "everyone" who can get there, i'm certain that at least a few in arete could use this.
for calling this shield crap, maybe you should look at you stuff, and try and get 4K mana, no my main dont have 4K mana but i am working on it. heres my junk take a look.

Posted:Sep 28 2002 at 12:51 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Almost crap for the level needed to obtain it. AC is about 10 points to low and the hp/mana isn't the greatest.
ST keys = cakewalk. A smaller guild with skilled players that farms Zlandicar and Vindi regularly could get into ST. Fighting MoTG and Prog, etc in there is another story.
I didn't read all of the posts...but I beleive this comes off of the Ancients? For what is involved in getting down there(either someone camps a mage or you.../cough fight /cough down there) the loot is questionable=) However, my cleric would absolutely take this shield. At 2200 HPs and 4k mana at lvl 65, I would love the extra sta and FT. It would replace her OoIV quite well. Personally, I don't worry about the wis cap much. With KEI/Tranq/VoQ it reaches it's cap just fine. At this point I shoot for FT/Mana/HPs/Sta...in that order. Since this is one of the few FT shields w/in my guilds reach...I think it is great=)
I'm in one of the guilds submitting these screenshots and I use an Orb of the Infinite Void. I'd trade this for the OoIV np, even with 25 fewer hp and mana...and supposing you aren't capped, the extra 10 sta and 5 wis are roughly 30 hp and 30 mana anyhow. Could care less about AC difference, strength is a boon for any wimpy high elf in plate, and the saves and FT are what make all the difference. Oh, and between integrity (I won't kill Tunare) and availability (TRY to find something up in ssra) my only other options are Grand Shield of Faith and Shield of Dragonkind. I'd rather have this over those two as well.
its too bad that you are too uber for this item as you will destroy it because of that reason :P. its also a shame that now that you have said this item isnt any good for you that verant now has to rework this item now to suit your particular taste so that you can go and get an item that is "phat lewtz" out of ST.
i remember the old saying, "if you cant say something nice dont say anything at all." this applys in this situation. if you dont need dont roll for it. NBG is the way it should be, raiders that participate get first dibs on drops and preferably will make use of it rather than letting it rot in bank. sorry for the sarcasm but reread the quote in this paragraph.
