This is still a great little item to have. The proc doesn't work past 55, I think, but it will still make 'em mad.

The effect is a buff clickable from inventory. It doesn't stay up but for maybe 10 minutes.

This does not stack with pally pious might.

#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 03 2002 at 1:38 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) It's not a spell interrupt, that one is later. This is a lower level, magic based, proc buff that Rangers get basically because SKs get Lifetap proc and Pallies get Undead proc. 35 damage, and while it might interrupt casting, that is from the damage, not an innate property of the proc, like the chanter nukes do.

iy may only stun mobs below 55 but above 55 it will still generate "stun aggro" this item is good for warriors since they don't have any add proc spells like sks and pallys

Actually, it is 35 DD + small knockback.

Small knockback = interrupt

this isnt a stun. Just a 35dd proc. As a level 60 ranger ive never seen it interrupt a spell. Either me using it or other rangers. Its a nifty spell but nothing special
No stun component you rangers are trying to tell us?

Call of Sky Strike
Classes:
None
Description:
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 35
3: Stun(0.00 sec)

Details: Raw spell data
Spell Type: Detrimental Skill: Alteration
Mana: 0 Target Type: Single
Casting Time: Instant Duration: Instant
Recast Time: 0 Resist: Magic (-100)
Fizzle Time: 0.00 Range to target: 50
AE Radius: 0 Interruptable: No
Location: Any Time of Day: Any
Reflectable: Yes

Looks pretty self explanitory to me. 0sec is still a stun and will stop any casting if proc goes off at same time.

to add -100 magic check is one of the higher ones (that and the *** III line of new oow procs at -150 resist checks)

That just means more chance it will hit and generate agro.

this is pretty cool...any class can put a 35dd/stun proc on their weapons which i believe stacks with all other procs.

Call of Sky is a 35DD + 1foot Knockback, not a stun, and it has a VERY small chance to interrupt casting. Call of Fire (55 spell) is the one that stuns, also has a 65dd, and interrupts casting just like a stun spell FYI ;)

it stacks with your weapons procs but not any other spell based proc like the one boon or trixters gives you.
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 02 2002 at 9:58 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The thing is unless you have an insane dex this effect don't really proc that often. My dex is only 117 now and it only procs once or twice a fight. And at higher lvls I believe most mobs are immune to stun, but it will still hit em for 35 unless it gets resisted.
RE: cool

Hisroyalphatness, you must realize that be the time you get this, your dex will most likely be at or very near the 255 cap.. Also, its a 0 second stun, e.g. it interrupts cast, thats all
RE: cool
# Oct 03 2002 at 6:47 AM Rating: Default
sorry to inform you but not everyone has all 255s just because they can go into VT. thats the whole point of going there. and as for stuns even if they dont do dmg, just casting it (or in this case procing it) it still has a chance to interupt casts. even those immune to stun.
RE: cool

Actually, by the time you go to vex thal you will have 255 in all stats easily, especially with primal weapons, people who go to VT do not go there to get their dex maxed out, but to get more HP/mana/atk/focus effects and such and to see new things.
