hehehe Magister

Magister kinda sucks as a Guild. They give all there stuff to this guy who sells it on Player Auctions under the name Big_Shag. So this guy Big_Dick...I mean Big_Shag sells this stuff for tons of money and cuts the Magister Guild leader in for a chunk of the loot, unbennounced to his Guild of course:)

How do you sell a no drop item?
Sounds familiar...

Floating rune. Sounds a LOT like the Ioun stones of D&D lore. The little rocks that flew around your head giving ya stats or special abilities.
shoulders?
# Jul 01 2002 at 4:59 AM Rating: Default
Considering where these come from, I can't imagine anyone wearing these as shoulders. Well, unless their perticularly lazy (8th coldain prayer shawl has the equivelent of FT 2, and extends duration of spells, more int/wis, has saves, bonus HP and Mana. Honestly, it's alot of effort to get the shawl, but it's not like it's harder than getting to Vex Thal.) Maybe as arms, guess it would depend on the class.

btw, yes bonuses can take you above class limits, as long as that wouldn't go over 255.

Dodge
# Jun 29 2002 at 2:35 AM Rating: Decent
Dodge caps at under 100 for casters. Doesn't matter exactly. So, here's what this item does assuming 99 skill.

99 + 1% = 99.9 dodge skill.

Partial skill points round down... does this effect actually do anything?

I'm not totally sure, but I believe you can go past that classes cap, as long as you don't go past the overall hard cap of 255. Don't take my word for it, thou.
dodge?

Forgive my ignorance. Do any of these classes get dodge or does wearing this item give them the ability?
RE: dodge?
# Jun 28 2002 at 11:49 AM Rating: Decent
Every class gets dodge, melees at different levels, priests at level 15, and casters at 22.

Yeah druids do get dodge, and if i'm not mistaken the rest do too even if it's capped real low
