Another thing to consider is that Beastlords have an AC enhancement bonus of 1.5, meaning that any worn AC is multiplied by 1.5.... so that 49 AC tunic is actually giving about 74 AC.... the Chain classes should be the ones ******** :D
that is where i think your wrong they may get a 1.5% or even a 15% but warrior would have the highest % per class and my lvl 71 warr gets a 60% bonus iknow cause added a 20 ac aug and got 12 ac bonus gained 32 ac instead of 20 i highly doubt my lvl 70 bst would get as much as yousay cause if so he would but like 3k ac instead of 1.2 or some where around there will just have to try it later i guess but i highly doubt your right.
hmm they could have given them a little more ac... chain classes get 75, and plate get like 96+... i know they are a leather class and all, but 49 ac just does not cut it...
Any Beastlord with this tunic is going to have 1400+ AC raid buffed anyway - and it's not like BST mitigation is all that great no matter what the AC, we're an avoidance class. The AC on this falls right in line with other BST-specific armor sets.
True enough, Im a Beast running just under 1800AC currently raid buffed & still my biggest help on mobs that hit hard (like 2000+) is my avoidance, its sweet when a hard hitting Mob turns on you when the tank goes down and you see Miss, Miss ,Miss, Miss, Reposte, Dodge, Miss, "Wham 2600" Best thing you can do as a Leather wearer is get as much Avoidance plus as many Dodge & Shielding Mods/Augs as you can. While it certainly helps to get hit for a tad less because of fairly high (for Leather) AC, its a whole lot better to just not get hit AT ALL, Just ONE extra miss for 3K equals allot of Mitigation.
