that is funny... I have never meet a tank (warrior) that could hold/keep agro from an SK...
well once i meet one... but the warrior was lvl 66 and the sk was lvl 40... but other than that...never seen it...if SK had the AC/ HP of there brothers the pallys... they would be most uber

I know several that can at will, regardless of level.

Agro shouldnt be a concern for monks anymore, with DoN, epics, new warrior agro abilities, etc. Also, if a monk takes agro from the tank, FD. Fairly simple. This weapon's decent overall, but I still like Despair for leather melee.

My tank steals agro from SK in a competition(get a mob and see who can keep/steal agro). Both are CoA geared etc. It all depends on the Sk and the War. The SK is top on server for ac (3600 unbuffed).
different proc
# May 11 2005 at 2:08 PM Rating: Decent
got one of these 5/7/05, has the proc "Dagger Frost" a 179pt dd, and i think has a stun, but everything i have hit with it is immune ><

also it is the ugliest weapon in the off-hand you can think of: basically 3 longish claws that point out (/boggle), SOE really needs to make a H.E.L.M type quest for weapons so we dont have to suffer through crappy graphics =)
aggro
# Mar 05 2005 at 7:04 AM Rating: Decent
Monks and Beastlords get nuff aggro allready. hopefully they will cut down the stun procs on monk/BL. If they want aggro they can buy EB from DON now.. let em die if they want.....
Resist?
# Jan 12 2005 at 12:30 PM Rating: Decent
The resist on proc is magic (-300) that is dang near unresistable isnt it at least for NPC's with normal magic resistance?

I wouldn't be so sure about that, Beast can generate quite a bit of aggro.

Lol, in my current incarnation the agro I produce is pretty big. In RS groups as main slower I have to take a serious drop in DPS just to slow the mob and not get hit. Only after the tank got his Time BP did it get easier for me to slow, but I can still take agro of him easily just going about my usual DPS.

1. Proc Tash stick.
2. Slow.
3. Reslow =/
4. Pet attack.
5. Auto attack on.
6. Dot and Nuke.
7. Maylian has agro.
8. Hit defensive.

I'm just glad i'll never get this weapon since it looks ugly, looking forward to getting my HWoCM.

Effect?
# Jul 14 2004 at 3:00 PM Rating: Decent
Is there a max level for a mob that the effect will hit in terms of the DD and stun component? I did not see anything in the effects description regarding this. Thanks!
RE: Effect?
# Jul 15 2004 at 8:56 AM Rating: Decent
I just got these yesterday. The effect is not "Crumbling Blow", at least anymore, it is "Force Shock", the same effect as is on the Copper Hammer of Striking.

Update: I have been using this weapon for a few days now and the effect is pretty crappy. So far every single mob I have fought resists the stun portion of this spell so only the DD hits and I get agro from the stun which does not even work.

Seems pretty stupid to put an effect on a weapon that does not work on what you are typically fighting at this level. It would be better if it was just the DD because at least then you would not be stealing agro constantly from a useless stun effect.

proc = debil
# May 25 2004 at 8:51 PM Rating: Default
This would probrably make my beastlord run straight to the top of the hate list. Its a pitty being such a nice weapon. I wonder how much worse it is on aggro than an Excuisite Puresteel Wrap?

Proc on this weapon rocks. If you find you're stealing aggro, simply wait a few seconds before initiating your attack or use protective spirit. By the time you're able to get this weapon, you should have 9k+ hps anyways and be able to take a few hits, especially with defensive.

edit: 9k+ buffed that is.

Heh if your tank is worth anything he will never lose aggro, much less to a bst. Sks and Paladins get so many aggro spells its not even funny, and warriors shouldn't even need to be mentioned.

True, in most cases it shouldnt be an issue, but I have stolen aggro from even our best SK/Pally in exp groups...not for long, but it happens :p

agreed bst's especially if they wind up slowing or heaven forbid get a lucky run of proc's can pull aggro in just about any situation.
