LOL the quest says Jaled Dar's Key.....that's the key in DN to get to guy to do turn in to get ST key.

On other words, you're turning in Jaled Dar's tomb key...NOT Sleeper's.

Read the quest again, sport. You definitetly turn in Sleeper's key. NOT Jaled Dar key. Thank you, that is all.

if u really think about it and look up all of the items given out in this quest then u will see that for the melee the sword and the club are gonna be the better items. i mean come on, what melee would be stupid enough to pass up a 23/24 one hander with a nice life tap, or the club which has the same life tap and is 13/20 i think. if i was going to be handing over my sleepers key to do this quest i would go for one of the weapons, because the chances of u geting another sleepers key are slim to none.

#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 08 2002 at 6:44 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You have to love the irony in this, 1 moron correcting another moron.....your right Lynxi the weapon has a mana tap, not a lifetap....Isnt it so great that you can Correct someone, then try to correct them again and say the weapon is 24/25 not 23/24 well guess what its 25/24 FFS if your going to correct someone make sure you know WTF you are talking about. Sorry but this person deserved a flame and i DID state the correct stats....
#kthomas, Posted: Nov 15 2002 at 11:34 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Danziig, check again please, the effect on the weaps are indeed a lifetap, not a mana tap. Its an 80 point tap. Like you said in your post, make sure your giving out the right info. As far as getting multiple of these items, well, GL on that. Personally I wouldnt turn in the first key until I had all the pieces for the second key. Which would take a while all things considered. But, anyways, back to looking up items for a monk that needs played.

Maybe you should read....they are different effects.

esscence drain = 80pt mana drain not HP drain, and it really doesnt matter since the sword is SHd/paly only
Wow as a warrior....

I could see doing this quest till I had all of the resist gear and the warrior allowable weapon. the Resists on this gear is UNBELIEVABLE! And that alone is what makes them so desireable, And IMO these will benefit ANY class that can get their hands on the scalse for the quest.

The Only problem I can see is tryhing to get the Key Multiple times to be able to do the turnins more than once, I dont know hwo hard it is to get.

I seriously doubt many people will get more than one of these items. The key requires a talisman off of one of the first brood, ie Yelinek, Lindinidara, Sontalak, etc... In most guilds that can kill the first brood, loot is awarded or decided by the leadership, and once awarded one key, you would be out of the running for a second key until all mains in the guild had gotten one first.

or at least that is how I see it working...

Well if the sleeper has already been awakened then there is not much that you can do about the primal drops drastically dropping. If you already got your primals, count your blessings. Take atvantage of the situation and try to pick up one of these darlings. Great resist. with a few other resist items you can easily get your saves in the 100+ area. I cannot wait to get some of this stuff.
Great ring...

Hardly worth effort from what I've heard, your Primal supply is DRASTICALLY cut off and these scales drop about once every 2 weeks for guilds who farm the place very often. Good items though
yikes

Quest says sleeper must be "awakened" for these prismatic scales to drop...all I have to say is great, insentive to wake sleeper =) (and less chance for peeps to get their primals). Oh well, sweet item I must say.

The ultimate resist ring? Though you have to give up your sleeper's tomb key to get it. :(

But do you actually give up the sleeper's access itself? Remember...once it's on your keyring, you can destroy it, and you can still enter ST. Does turning in the key for this quest remove the key from your keyring? It's something someone may want to look into. :D

I definitely agree Shouri, if the ST key is key ringed, then why not do the turn in? (I skipped this Sleepers Tomb content unfortunately)
