i know it is a hope against all hopes, but i wish these Abysmal Monk armors were somehow MQable. as a Monk i want (2) of these wrists & the boots. Of course these are VERY nice, great all around, & sure costs many MANY pretty shiny pennies, but if someone with mediocre gear was able to attain a few pieces of this a casual player might have a shot @ being competitive again. i'm sure if it was MQable the 10,500 per piece i read needed would @ least double for the MQing, but it might be worth it. Great envy to any Monks that have been into those Gates' zones & had the finances to get any Pressls.

I solo in plane of fire, plane of earth and plane of water, yet to try plane of air, im not ep geared guild only just started raiding there and the mobs DONT eat me alive, with discs, procs etc its not too tough just downtime in between every 2 or 3 mobs, its not efficient but beats doing nothing whilst waiting for groups, have also managed to solo 3 casters in a creator mission (950 quadders) it can be done, its fun doing it and dont knock it, any monk with a set of this would do it alot better n me too.
Old world mobs havent stood a chance against top geared people for a while, but noones going to solo to plane of time, especially not a monk :P Best i seen was a necro soloing Vallon Zek.

the real question is if someone could "solo their way to the Plane of Time!" why would they fight old world mobs.....

obviously youve never been to the Elemental planes..even if a monk had a complete set, the mobs there would still eat him alive if he dared to try to solo.

What are they trying to do with this armor? If someone had a complete set they would be able to solo their way to the Plane of Time! combine these with the new handwraps that proc 100 hp heals with 25/19 ratio and the annhilation handwraps! the old world mobs wouldnt stand a chance.
