Bulwark of Uqua

Uqua sucks so much. Can't wait to finish it so we can never go back.

With this shield I found it's more likely a druid will get it first since the wizards are holding out for the statue that drops that has nice % to fire and boots from another god zone that have the cold %. I got the first one on FV, sent in a picture but it's not up yet. Really love this shield though usually never got a crit over 3.6ish unless with bard song. Gotten a few 3.7ish crits now since I got the bulwark. Only downer is that it has same graphic as Aegis of Blackscales from Ikkinz.
question

Question about mana regen:

Does the old FT 15 limit still hold, now that flowing thought no longer applies?

Now that EVERYTHING with mana regen on it is mana regen, not FT, are you still limited to 15/tick, or can u go over that?
RE: question
# Aug 28 2005 at 12:00 PM Rating: Default
Its still 15 base but now you can train with aas to get it to 20 at a cost of 5 aa's per mana regen.

new info: with OOW they are releasing aa that allows u to go over the old FT cap with items/spells. no idea what the new limit will be but old 15 cap will be out the window. i'm pritty sure atm its set to each train = +5 to cap. so i'm guessing new ft max will be 30. so get your FT items early so your not part of the bidding rush once oow comes out =p

The cap is still 15 points of worn mana regen, they just changed the way it's displayed on the armor.

The same thing applies to worn atk. The cap is still 250, there just aren't so many goofy names for it anymore. (aura of battle, vengeance, aura of valor, etc)

Except for certain items that were never counted as FT before, the cap is 15. Any of the following effects stack with any other Mana Regeneration except each other:

Maelin's Methodical Mind - 8
Reyfin's Random Musings - 8
Aura of Taelosia - 7
Aura of Eternity - 5
Koadic's Heightened Focus - 5
Adventurer's Aura - 4
Lunar Whispers - 2
Soul Clasp - 2

The reason these effects are able to stack is because they are not "worn" effects, they are clickable and go on your buff window. Just like KEI or Pot9 or any other mana regen buff.

Example: The Talisman of Tainted Energy off TT in PoTime had the Worn effect of Aura of Eternity, now it's viewed as just +5 Mana Regen +5 Regen. The Celestial Cloak off Bert in PoTime has Aura of Eternity as a clickable effect. So in essence you're not really adding onto your "worn" mana regen.

Sure these clickable items mean you have to spare the buff slot for em, but the more mana regen the better of course.
Strange

This is great for Clerics since they get tons of cold based DD spells...er wait. Hmmmm.....

Oh well at least it's an upgrade in the HP/Mana department.

4: Limit: Instant spells only

Does this mean that only spells with no casting delay are affected by this?
RE: hmm -

Instant would be that the damage is done instantly, instead of a DoT or a spell which would do the damage over time.
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 27 2004 at 5:47 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Druids and shaman get mostly ice nukes so people saying manly for mages and wizzys are wrong i know my druid would love this but guld just got time flaged so will be a while before get this lol.
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 28 2004 at 6:48 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Actually, druids have predominately ice nukes.

#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 27 2004 at 12:38 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I hunt on trainer hill, and the best thing that thye trainers drop is a shiny brass shield! 10ac and 10sv magic. they do drop some raw hide stuff too....
compared

compare it to the bareer of freezing winds https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=21823 well, it has different stats, 3 more hp regen, +5 FT & 5% more to ice nukes... but if you already have that, it's only a minor upgrade (considering the fact that most likely if you are able to kill the enraged, you are in a time geared guild anyhow, and at full FT too).. but granted, it frees up 'space' for non ft equipment
Not bad!
# Apr 27 2004 at 2:45 AM Rating: Default
Not bad, but as soon as you hit lvl 14 I suggest hitting Trainer Hill in crushbone for the UBER trainer shield.

Improved 40% damage on Ice based nukes, I can imagine there are a few wizards out there drooling as we speak.

Train to zone..........
.............You have been slain by half the zone.
