I tried to start the zerk epic at 45 and it was a no go I came back at 46 and he gave me the axe and the medal to begin the quest

I completed this today for my 46 Berserker. Probably the easiest epic I have ever done - even more so than the ROG or BST. Started it yesterday with no previous preparation or planning, and completed it today. I did the whole quest with an 85 Ranger shadowing me and jumping in as needed. For the final goblin wave portions, a ranger seems like the way to go. I was able to kill the goblins in each wave as fast as I could F8 them. I had no issues with lost/stuck/non-agro spawns, and the directional arrow line of spells worked flawlessly to tag them all immediately. I have a feeling headshot would have been a valid method as well, but HoA/F8/Melee/F8/Melee was near instantaneous waves down - literally seconds, run to his next spot, then wait for pops.

i am wondering if i should get my 1.0 even though i have windblade because i can use the haste on the 1.0 but , i dont think i want to spend the time on it if its not going to be worth it so which should i use ?

Kileed the image at 46 with DS pots, haste pots, and heal pots. wasn't that bad of a fight, hardly ever had to use the heal pots.

u guys are just mad that for once, zekers get a nice weapon. We dont get to heal ourselves with spells, we cant dish massive dmg with spells, we dont get pets, we cant sing gay songs, we cant really take too much of a beating (war's roll), so please just let us deal damage like this class was intended to do. Or u guys can ***** some more about nerfing this item, but make sure to tell them to give us healing spells, nukes, or even a pet! Why lower something made specifically for a class that actually makes the class useful? and if you'r eso upset about how crappy ur epic is, why choose that class? Oh because u dont want to be a zerker b/c that class sucks? well dont *****. u made u choice, just live with the fact that us zerkers actually do get a + side to us. U dont see me ******** about not having a pet, dots, heals or anything else do u? <when the f*ck r we gonna get pets?>

Not that I'm complaining about the effect ('specially since I have neither this epic nor a Berserker), but the weapon already has 5 AC.. why not just make it 12?
the effect used to be 40% haste, 40 atk, and 7 ac. when haste and atk became code entities on their own (separate from just putting effect Haste on the weapon then setting it, or the Vengance effect), they were removed from this effect.
as for why they didnt simply remove the effect and up the AC after the change (or why they put it on in the first place), i couldnt say. unless AC on a weapon is calculated differently than buff AC (such as shield AC, which will extend beyond the class softcap)

It's a flavor thing. Just having Keras' name on the effect adds depth to the item's lore. A small thing, yet an important one.

51 zerker with only a few pieces of gear a 35/35 sword i killed her no prob she didnt get me under 80%

Just some advice... You may think getting the axes from that ghost is a waste but believe me it took me like 5 minutes to get the mob down 1% with my summoned axes but then i got the axes from the NPC and i got him down 1% every 3-6 axes. Just set up a hotkey to /target that dude then a hotkey for hailing and just face the mob ure throwing axes at so u press the hotkeys target mob throw repeat. took me about 40 minutes to solo the guy using the axes the NPC gave me.
I had a similar problem today with killing the dog. Took forever. Granted, I got my throwing skill up from 72 to 168, so it wasnt all bad. My summoned axes had no effect on the dog, had to use the quest axes.

Really? I killed him in 6 minutes using only my summoned axes.
This epic looks like one of the very few that I can actually say looks fun. If I can ever get my berserker leveled I will be trying for this.

You have to think of it like this. ALL epics are designed with the expansion they came out in. With the Kunark Epics ( War , Pal, SK etc ), they were more than uber enuff for that time. Now that we are up to GoD type of mobs and gear, the Newer range of Epics will be just as godly for the expansion they come out in. Quit your ******* and have fun already......

My Beserker has started the epic at lvl 48, soloed the first two parts, was buffed with Virt and Fo7 and SoV took out image easily, rarly had to heal, used maybe 5 bandages, first part took me 1 hr, and 10 min with my Mithril axes, I decided would take too long to keep hailing the ghost for 3 axes... so I just used my own, went through 1800-2k axes

I dropped the image solo at 49, was buffed and had ok gear on me and was left with 7% life after the fight :)

This quest is way doable at 50 for sure.....Just dont hail the starting guy in lake of ill omen. Instead just say I wish to master the fires and from that the quest starts...you can do the same thing at 46, but when you go to fight the Berserker`s Image for trial 2 you may fail that trial...for she hits hard...even for a lvl 50 zerker good geared....not only that trial 2 you have to do alone. No ifs and or butts about it lol.

able to do at 51 at this date now? people say it was made to where you have to be 51 others say level 55. any up-to-date level req for quest?

just did the solo fight in field of bone at lvl 51. 4 failed attempts cause u dont get time to cast the greater heal.had to get fresh fo7....virtue....brells...and got a lvl 65 mage damage shield. i had tae ew sword 33dmg 35 delay and was only to 50% when i won.cant do it without the damage shield. female barbarian 51 zerker on eci.

Will another item that has a haste bonus you are wearing stack with the haste on this Berserker epic? Curious if the effect Rage of Keras is always effecting the wielder and a Berserker could wear another haste item for some crazy haste or not.

LOL i would love to be a zerker with this epic but hey i cant really complain althought the SK is a POS and not worth it till omens come out but also if they have 2 epics for all the classes that means zerker gets an upgrade i just hope that zerker epic upgrade isnt as big as ours lol
i mean everyone knows SK epic and Pally epic are the worst so they should get the largest upgrade of all and thats what ime hoping for

I forgot to mention that Zerkers get a MUCH better weapon in GoD but im also not complainin there either cuz SK's deathblade of Zun`Muramm is right up there with theirs i mean its a stats are

Except for the fact that no one knows what drops the "Deathblade of The Zun`Muramm" ... it is gonna be a quest to see whether it is a GM awarded item or dropped. So ... IMHO this Epic makes all other Epics look retarded. And I am not saying that this epic should be nerfed, cause it should't. The Existing epics should be brought up to the speed of this one. As a " Epic " weapon should be just that. Greenmist is better than the SK epic IMHO.
also at this time the better berserker weapon that drops in GoD "Jagged axe of uncontrolled rage" has never even dropped. So berserkers get one berserker only weapon that is better than their epic and even the uber guilds cant even get it yet....hmmmm class balancing and weapon itemization would be nice. might as well nerf this weapon too since we are wanting to ***** this class over :) Oh and pallies and SK get weapons far better than this that are far easier to get than their epic.

When will you people stop ******** about upgrading the old epics? They will NEVER and I mean NEVER upgrade the old epics. Infact I beleive they already nerfed two of them, the paly and sk procs on the epics. The sk epic is no longer a lifetap proc. It is a dot for 30 hp a tic. The paly epic dd has been lowered as well. I don't remember what it was before. So there you go. The beastlord epic was awsome when it came out and everyone seems to have forgotten already. I think this will be the last new class to come out though since EQ2 should be comming out soon.
i just recently did this quest wasnt to hard since all the spawns are permanent or up at a certain time of day/night it took me a little under 10 hours to do the entire epic and 5 hours was spent campin the stonebrunt spawn wasnt hard just need a couple friends to help and its cake
this is the prolly the best epic there is i mean omg 100 hps nice effect 40% haste 40 atk 100 endurance omg omg omg this is so awsome

Nerf it i say . Beast lord weps are luclin era weps and have suckie ratio. So why should 1 !! class get a decent epic 1 weapon .Sure some of the caster class epics are still OK but their different . Rest of melee get CRAP ratio weps .
because this class has nothing else besides its epic, we got screwed we have no class AA and half of our disciplines dont even work most of our berserker items are even broken, so to all of you - give us a break we need at least 1 thing to make our class special
Alright, looks people. Berserkers are a dmg dealer class, like rogues and monks. They need a good (understatement I know) axe to deal the dmg they are intended to. IF this was warrior usable and I had the choice between this and the warrior epic two hander. Know what I would pick? Let's see, 40% haste and 40atk...or...175dd and 500pt of hate. I'd pick the hate proc! Warriors are not there to be the super damage doers of the group. We are there to get agro and get punched in the face. Epics are suited for the class. Rogues get haste and atk, Clerics get rez. The epics really aren't THAT outdated when you really look at them. Look past the dmg/dly and keep in mind the class the epic is for and the reason.

Everybody is whining about this epic....why? Omens of War is coming out soon and all ur epics will basically be upgraded so why complain when you will have a weapon just as good as the berserker in due time. So every1 just stop complaining.

Because, oh so wise twit who actually believes 1 replaces a word, they'll have to do another quest, most likely involving GoD and the upper planes, to get their Epic 2.0, and they've already done the work to get the current epic.
I doubt Sony's going to just "upgrade" to the Epic 2.0. It will be a NASTY quest.
Ohhh, and before you respond with how "easy" epic's are, like some people say, I ask you to think about the SK epic, for example... then think about half those mobs when your max level was 50, and a weapon that barely broke damage/delay was considered godly.

You're an idiot or a newb. Epic quests weren't released with EQ... I'm sure if you thought about it you'd realize they were out atleast when Kunark was (since most epics take place in kunark zones). The level cap was only 50 in classic EQ, and was raised to 60 with Ruins of Kunark expansion. Epics came out during the velious era, meaning there were weapons out there by then that were good ratio easy. Ebon Mace for SKs for example dropped in Guk 2.0 (Seb) with a 19/24 ratio (on a 1hb). Granted, now it is easier with gear upgrades, AAs and L65 cap, but you make it sound so much harder than it was. Back when monk epic was new you could do all of it with 2 groups. Same for rogue, and I'm sure a few other classes.
Epics aren't easy. They aren't impossible, they take time, like all EQ. EQ is a timesink game, not a skill game. The more time you dump in the better your character, despite how dumb you are as a player (as im sure if you've grouped at 65 you have realized).
