mod rod below 450h.p. = yur gonna die nothin to it
I just won this with my Mag, and while on a fear raid, i was at 4%hp and didnt have any mana. i used this instead of modrod because i woulda killed myself. saved my ***
Modrods will not kill you if you do not have 450 hp health. It just won't let you use it until you have sufficient health.
umm, thats not true, ive been killed by modrodding, go ahead, go get killed, rezzed, loot your rod, and use it. If you dont move at all, your new corpse will "spoon" with your old one!
Earthmagiks is correct. If your MAX hp is over 450, and your CURRENT hp is below 450, click on a mod rod and die.

Thus, if you needed mana but don't have enough HP for a modrod, this would indeed be a good alternative
