by the time you get to primal, youre probably going to be farming your brains out anyway. go to a monk? maybe, but monks can also use the battlehammer. my guilds been farming primal and probably wont stop until they rot. in fact, were even destroying primals, last raid a claidhmore and a war lance rotted.
casters would probably end up with this one way or another, i think one of the first times i saw it was on a chanter.

I ported in to WC rings and there was a level 60 wizard soloing the druids with this weapon, only using melee. Pretty cool!

i have seen many a monk use this till it procs and then switch to shovel of the harvest. the proc on this weapon is one of the best buffs in the game! huge stat bonuses and 100atk which is insane. this is one reason i think it should go to some type of melee is for the proc but i have no problem with the people who say this should go to a caster. as far as i have seen this is the best dmg dealing weapon that any type of finger wigglers can use. if i had a high lvl ench or necro i would love to have one!

If this dropped while I was around I'd make sure an enchanter got it. ***** monks, anytime they get in trouble they just have to push a button and everything is all better. Lets face it, enchanters blow outside of groups (don't argue with this) and when they are running through a low lvl and get attacked by a greenie the only way for them to get rid of it is to blow a **** load of mana. I don't play a chanter, I just feel sorry for em.

Most caster gear has bonuses to Dex......me as a lvl 58 mage has almost 200 dex unbuffed with max'd int for my level (255....really 266 but it won't go over) if you have near base dex your gear must suck.
In case you are wondering, dex is important for casters also......which is why a lot of caster gear has it....it increases the chances of spell crits....same with melee crits for fighters.

Well, Erudites have an 80 base dex... soooo with that in mind...
80 plus 100 plus 100 = 280.
NDT = 100 or 120 dex, I'll go with 100.

Ok probably sound like a noob or something but Ive heard that u can still get primal velium even after sleeper has been awoken except its a lot more rare to drop...that true anyone?

Stats on this weapon are incorrect/have been changed.. maybe it's because the Sleeper has been woken on our server (tholuxe paels) not sure though if that is why
Damage is now 45, delay 44 and has ac of 17, the rest of the stats are correct
Heh, got one of these due to the fact we had no one else to use it
I must say though, it's certainly a fun toy, and I can hardly get enough of it...

...but in my own experience this staff goes to casters, believe it or not. Cause the warders and the progenitor doesn't just drop one item at a time, but up to 5 at least. Thus, when this baby drops there will be other 1h weps for the meleers. I have seen pure casters do serious damage even to named dragons with this weapon.
Enchanter with this weapon in BotB ... then shissar himself and maybe borrow a CoF from one of the meleers... He'd smack the opponent chanters with ease.
Not one of the melee guys I have been in ST with wanted this wep.

it is very easy to get your int/*extra stat* up tp 200 with buffs and with shissar and a haste item you will seriously do a LOT more dmg then you would have ever imagined not to mension the chance to knock back with a 2hb item *causes 55+ mobs to get innturupted because stunn doesn't work* the 1h weapons go to melees becuase they are slightly better *u can have two*
i have a 52 monk twink i woulldn't ever loot one of these *last two went to druids*

Guilds that can get this sort of gear for the most part worship at the alter of the Holy Trinity and are Min/Maxed. You are not going to find many hybrids running around the Sleepers Tomb. Why have a fighter who does at best 85% of the damage of a Warrior for Knights, but can't tank uber mobs, or one does around the same damage as a Warrior in the case of Rangers, but are less efficient tanking high level mobs at all? It's the payoff for warriors spending 54 levels as big, dumb, one dimentional bruts who are boring to play =P

Uh, not sure what hybrids you have in your guild, or what classes, but any high end Ranger can easily, VERY easily, outdamage any warrior. Warriors are up front to TAKE damage, not dish it. Meanwhile your Rogues, Rangers, and SK's DISH the damage.

Speak for yourself, I've enjoyed playing my warrior for 58 levels. I don't think they're boring.
I agree, tho, this should go to a caster. There are plenty of 1h weapons and 2hs weapons that drop.

These two dragons are not that difficult, although as someone said you need a plan. Klandicar doable with 24-30, Zlandicar with 35-40.
Some guild may use less but this is what we have has success with.
As far as who would get the Primal Velium Brawlstick? Warriors wouldn't use, Monk's might use, I would definitly use :)
