obeviously you didn't have to kill this guy,I killed him with my 56 druid He wasn't hard for him but did hit for about 117,so it wasn't safe for a person under 30 to be killing
the undead knight is the guy that drops the tunic byt he same name too....anybody hearded of a fabled one of those?? That would be pretty cool acually. The standard has 14ac and some decent stats for it's level....thought might beed a bit too good for the mob packing it if it existed....

From my experience no fabled can be snared or rooted. I killed this guy for my level 40 ranger. Not a bad mantle for his class and level. Also managed to get him the new workboots. Took the Fabled Reclusive Ghoul Magus out, but he had no new loot.
The fabled mobs are alot harder to take out. I had a difficult time with the ghost in unrest. I had to put wolf form on and just run him around the house hitting him with immolation of ro constant (fastest cast time of my dot spells).
I was in there with my 45 druid and saw him up, he conned green, and after resisting every root or snare I threw his way, I had to DOT and run, he hits hard to. Finally got him, but wasnt easy. I think ALL Fabled Mobs cannot be rooted or snared, Fabled undead knight resisted all, Fabled Grenix Mucktail in HP resisted all, and so do the fabled EE in Gorge.
Just to shed some light on the above posts, the mob may have been rootable on March 22, the day he posted.
The Fabled mobs were tweaked during the March 23 patch. Here is a quote from that patch message:
"Fabled NPC's will now appropriately reflect their difficulty."
That patch affected the con levels and abilities of alot of the Fabled mobs. For example, before that patch I was able to interupt the spellcasting of The Fabled Froglok King (in Lower Guk) using my stun spells. However, after that patch, the mob became immune to all of my high level stuns.
dont even try it young soul. My 46 ranger and another 46 paladin took this guy on and DIED! if the paladin hadnt already used lay hands on the dwarven work boots guy we would've gotten him. Later though we got virtue and HoS and smacked him down (still got down to 18% on me and 28% on him)
Well, I can say for sure about the knight, but last night I popped into Unrest to help a friend kill Fabled Garanel Ruksif for the Fabled Dwarven Work Boots. He hit for 100-190 on my 65 pally. He did have quite a few HP for a green con, but nothing I couldnt handle. So Im assuming the Knight should be easier. Good luck!

Yes, but the Fabled Undead Knight was still reasonably easy for my lvl 53 pally. What I did, and I have done him about 3 times, is to ivu past him, stand on the ledge, cease stun pull him and jump into yard. That gets him to come down solo with pet. Pet arrives first, so you can take care of him quickly. Then you can take down the knight one on one. I did not get any trains this way either...
