Trushar's Mending
# Oct 29 2007 at 7:37 AM Rating: Default
Some people may wonder why even to bother with Trushar's Mending if they've already got Chloroblast. The reason is simple -- it is a quick heal costing very little mana, but the best part is that according to the spell data it heals 1048 to 1048 hp, unlike Chloroblast which heals something like 994hp to 1044hp.

Both cost about the same mana (330), but Trushar's will *always* heal you for 1048hp (before healing focii or healing aa's). In addition, the casting time is .75 sec less on Trushar's. This may not seem like a lot, especially when casting speed focii are used, but it can mean the difference between life and death to the soloing beastlord.

Accually this spell should have stayed in the game, as you will >not< always have your stats maxed, hell i'm level 70 and my Dex and Str fall quite short of the mark (i have EP flag and Tipt) and in some raid situation casters prefer to have IoS due to self buffs so it would be effective to have this spell remain in the game

Turepta Spirit aka Trushar's Mending
# May 05 2005 at 2:47 PM Rating: Decent
When you turn in the GoD Jelki Stone you get Spell:Turepta Spirit which when scribed into your spellbook becomes Trushar's Mending.

Essentially what happened is that in the BST discussion forums at eqlive the complaint was that while Turepta Spirit (which was the group form of IoS) was a useful spell, the level at which you were likely to obtain it made it largely redundant. So SOE interpreted that to mean that BST's didn't want group IoS and thus they changed it to the healing spell (Trushar's Mending) which is equally redundant since you are likely to have the better OoW heal long before you will get this one.
once again lol

it doesnt get you a group buff it gets u a heal for 525
# Oct 18 2004 at 1:49 PM Rating: Decent
bunch of crackheads if think this is useless if u in a group most likely aint gonna be a shaman there. it gets real annoying when u got 4 melee in ur group and u gotta single cast IoS sta dex and kragg hell thats 16 casts hmm make that 20 if u like to buff ur pet also :). it be real nice to have a group sta and dex spell str aint a big deal since its the most easiest stat to max out for every class.

after reading alot of these posts on just bout nething on alla alot of folks need to think b4 they post cuz majority of em just dont put alot of thought into it :).

its a waste
# May 26 2004 at 6:49 PM Rating: Default
yeah this spell is a waste, by the time you get here your stats are most likely maxed, add hp to it and it would be worth somethin
Possible use is in Uqua
# May 16 2004 at 9:12 AM Rating: Decent
Yes, your odds of getting this spell before you are EP flagged are pretty slim. It could be useful in Uqua though, unless all of your stats are around the 500 mark.
# May 11 2004 at 11:56 AM Rating: Good
yeah i wouldn't call this useless, i'm only a 58 bst on Bristlbane [Faeras] but still, it would be nice when you are soloing and you're not one of the ubar elem flagged people who have max stats. i know i'm sounding sorta like a priss but not all of us are in ubar guilds who get us elem flagged or help us get all that nice stuff - nor do i always have a shamman with me, and like tassoth said, us bsts often end up as slowers and buffers. and it's a group spell, i'd much rather hit the entire group with it 1 time than having to listen to the 3-4 melees in the group ***** about needing to be buffed. just click and bam, done. no need to spend time sitting and memming and casting str, dex, and sta, on everyone. see what we mean?

anyway enough ranting and such, that's just my 2cp and most likely the same 2cp as most other beastlords, no?

By the time you're able to get this spell, most likely you'll already have all you melee stats maxxed anyways. This spell would be limited to use in pickup groups. No way I would waste a geomancy stone for that application. A group fero spell would have been much more useful.
No Drop?
# Mar 22 2004 at 4:02 PM Rating: Decent
Why is this no drop? From the details I have read on who will actually see the GoD geomancy spells or whatever, you won't see them using this spell for raids. And only time you will see a beastlord use this is in a group where there is no shaman along. So lets give beastlords a spell that would be very usefull to have, but let's give it to them when they wouldn't really use it anymore....

Don't know about you bittwin when I exp I am never in a group with a shaman, I'm yet to have max'd stats so shaman buffs aren't that great outside of raiding.

I often do hard LDoN's and I'm the slower so if there is a wipe I'm also the buffer, simple fact is that even with FT13 after a wipe I don't have enough mana. This spell means you can save mana by group buffing with it, instead of single casting all mellee's. You're right you don't use this on raids but it doesn't make it worthless, unless you're fully ele/time geared. I've still got a bit of ele gear to get yet.
