Stained Scale Pants  

 

I've been hunting in Riwwi about 1 hour each day for the last 1 year. I've seen the chef up once or twice before this last time. Finally decided to try him. Was 2-boxing lvl 69 ranger and lvl 70 shammie. Failed 1st attempt: ranger was summoned, got too close to door of building, 3 adds came quickly. 2nd try (about 1/2 hour later) was with shammie and lvl 70 warrier without full set of buffs. Slowed the chef, healed warrior twice, then got summoned and beaten to death, followed by death to warrior. 3rd try (1 hour later) was with shammie (lvl 70), ranger (2-boxed; lvl 69), and friend playing lvl 70 warrior. Was a truly easy fight after clearing 3 trash mobs in building. Dropped pants, which are really nice, but not top tier stuff anymore for lvl 65+. Will probably give to my lvl 51 rogue, and wait till he gets to lvl 55 to use.

Other info: spawned in center building. Previously spawned outside of center building (as I recall).

So I've been in Riwwi recently working on faction, saw the Chef up, and he dropped these. Don't think i've seen em before, but as todays standards, didn't think it was that great of loot. I put it on trader for 20k...and was immediatly bought by a reseller and put back up for 123k!!! I'm not sure if he is crazy or if I am, seems impracticle by todays loot standards.

Thats the 7th economy for you...

Logged in right after patch today, he was up so i cleared mobs on one side of building..... Owned the **** with my zerker shm combo and droped the legs.

I do believe that named have a higher chance of droping a rare item right after a server reset, happens with fellspin and his belt....
