There are spell affect augs for slot 3 from the new SoF faction vendors. Haven't checked out but a few but some look interesting like the one from Loping Plains for (if I caught it right) adding a tick to a cleric's solemn elixir. That's a whopping 25% increase. The "nuke" focus one I saw was maybe 5-7% added, not that much but something.

A lot of the new Secrets of Faydwer armor sets have 2 augs slots, a slot 7 and a slot 3. I haven't seen equipment with slot 3 spots since LDoN. I wonder if this aug will fit in slot 3?
no. EQ renegged and decided there are no "all slot type" gems anymore. now, you have to get specific type 3 LDoN stones to put in those slots. its their attempt to get people to revisit some old content.

The aug is lore so you only can get one at a time. Once combined head on back and try your luck again on getting one.

nope, you can only ever loot 1 of these. once its auged, its still technically in your possession so trying to loot a second won't work. there are augs that they only want to you have 1 of, this is one such aug. look at the FT augs from adv camps, all lore meaning you can get 1 of each, but not multiples of the same. in ferubi there are 25 hp/mana/endur augs, 3 different named augs all with the same stats and all lore. why? because they only want you to have 3 max, thus you must get 1 of each.
Trust me, if getting multiples of this aug were possible, my guild would do it.

most augs are lore....run to an adventure merchant and look, and i am pretty sure you can have more than one if they are augmented into an item....not 100% positive tho
