Picked up two of these in a row after killing him just 3 times--on the 4th and 5th he dropped the whip. You see it in his hand when he is carrying it. I also got 2 bands of flesh and an iron visor among other things. Great XP too!

Backstab is only with piercing weapons, this is 1 hand slashing. Decent for the off hand. I paid 20pp for this on torvonnilous in EC.
