not a great weapon. but for a low lvl / alt / noobie.... does it give off light? do all magic weapons?

Seriously though, I doubt it gives off light and I dobt that it really matters to anyone. Items that give off light only do so when you have Dynamic Lighting on, which almost nobody uses, due to the graphical lag it can cause.

It's a shame they wasted the name "Gladius" on such a pathetic sword.

Awww come on, it's not that bad for the level, when i was like, lvl 12 or something, i worked super hard to get a combine long sword...those are like 6/28 magical..Granted that was like...34 months ago. Baaah forget it, just buy the wurmy for like 400pp now lol ;)

i have seen it spawn near the round room somewhere. i don't know if it always is there or not, but the gladius isn't worth the trouble of hunting the blade fiend. if you manage to find it, it is extremely easy to kill. when i was 1 level higher than it, i got it without losing much health at all. But it just plain isn't worth the effort unless you are still using a rusty or bronze 1hs at the time
I am on Zubuxxoruk and I went to unrest for a guild raid yesterday (RAH!!!! FAITHFUL KNIGHTS RULE - plug is necessary) and am a lvl 22 ranger. I saw nothing at all called a lesser blade fiend the whole time and neither did my entire guild, not even on track and believe me, all who had track were looking for them. Other than the gladius there are no weapons there worth mentioning, only fine steel ones. The Pugius isnt even that great, but the thing is, I couldnt find a lesser blade fiend in order to get the gladius. Any ideas?

I kept my cleric in Unrest for around 15 levels on Tarew Mar server. I think I saw this thing maybe 10 times. It is a somewhat rare spawn. Not as rare as the Priest of Najena is but definately not common. Just have to spend time there to find one.

Can we fix the level to attain from 14 to around either 24 or 34. I forget what level the blade fiend is on but I know it's above 20th.

Was btm at 20, took it will in a group. Came across one again at 22 and it was btm again. Took forever to kill though, it parries and dodges like a madman.
