Got 1 of these bracers off a Thall Va Xakra, 1 of the named that AE silences. pretty wussy, we were happy with it, 20% range is nice. We call them cliffords, not sure why exactly. most guilds usually skip them, we figured we would go in and kill them, nothing better to do.

no you didn't get this bracelet of a TVX, you more than likely got the Bracer of the Silent Star (15 AC 75 HP MANA 15 all saves) with Starfall Symbol, whitch is also an improved range.

and for askel: lots of guilds skip the TVX and CoH to blob1

Looks like Vi is gearing up for the PoP expansion as the focus effect on this is restricted to not just spells 60 and lower but lvl 63 and lower. The though of going beyond lvl 60...

Sorry to have turned this into a character leveling thread but many many many thanks to everyone for thier fantastic input! I think I've found that modivation to keep leveling.. HisRoyalPhatness's point about druid $ making abilities, Meirril's explination of quad kiting (haven't tried it yet but I'll work on it!), Mangione's point that sometime ya just need to **** around & quest (hence the name everquest) & fallaienea has a great point about making a Cleric as I always see groups asking for one (sometimes in heavily camped zones, begging hehe), maybe I'll start one as an alt for my Druid when I'm pulling my hair out over levels.

Should say something about that item up there soooo... *drool* nuff said ;)

N' whoever sent in the pic, thank you!!!! Nothing worse than trying to look up an item to see 'Please send picture' & wonder if the stated info is actually correct.

hey for those people that have trouble getting past lvl 30+ try a cleric yeah i know it means starting a new toon but hey clerics rock and what good group travels to the best XPing zone without a cleric? yeah thats right not one group. so make yourself a cleric do the newb quests till 10 then hit pauldal caverns till you dont get xp any more you should be about lvl 28 by then then head to OT on kunark till lvl 38 then hit DL till your lvl 50 then bam you are an uber lvl 50 cleric that can do planes raids and kael raids and you will be going to these uber zones in no time but hey if you dont want to take the word of a lvl 53 cleric thats fine ill be seeing you in the newbie gardens on my way through to sell the 1kpp in gems i just picked up in seb for only 4 hours of play time

Don't get too down the lvls do come eventually. I was in 30 for over a month, 35 for like 6 weeks and I'm almost at the end of month 2 for 40. Just be glad they got rid of hell lvls. If you just keep your head up, and look for groups you can still rake in some cash too. Go to Rathe Mountains, get a group, you can pull in somewhere in the range of 100pp in an hour with a good group, and some nice exp along with it. Plus druids with high wis can single kite giants almost constantly after 40, and quad kite em with no problem after 45. One of my friends (lvl 50 druid) made 7k pp in about 7 hours. So just stick with it it all gets better eventually.

You more or less said exactly what you need to do to level. Basicaly, don't do anything that won't generate xp and you'll gain levels. Sounds stupid but it's the basic truth. A little more useful is to ask others of your class and slightly higher level where they were hunting at your level. Don't ask people that are WAY above your level, Eq changes and the area they recomend may not be the same as it was back when they were your level (like it may be a great zone for groups, but solo xp there stinks and nobody goes there any more. Or maybe it got revamped and you'd last long enough to get too far into the zone to retrive your own corpse. Take CT as an example of a revamped zone). Also explore websights and threads that talk about your classes abilities. Druids at 34 gain the spells that allow them to quad kite. At 36 they finaly have the mana to quad kite even if they arn't twinked. What do you need to know to quad kite? A few things. 1: you need lots of room to quad kite. Means you need somewhere you can run without getting a lot of adds. 2: you can only do 4 mobs at a time with your AoE. So, only get 4 mobs at most (and its a waste of mana getting less than 4.). 3: Use Ensnare. You'll need to use alot of time getting 4 mobs together, the 10 min duration of Ensnare is what makes quad kitting work, not the improved damage of druid AoE spells. 4: The lightning based AoE has an area of effect of 1. Basicaly, you need to run around the mobs your kitting until they are touching each other, then your AoE will hit all 4. 5: Picking mobs to quad kite is the hardest part of quad kitting after you get a little practice. You need mobs with low HP for their level. Usualy these are animals with insane damage output, but your not going to melee them so who cares? 6:Always have gate and a finishing spell mem'ed. If you get an add you MIGHT have the extra mana to handle it. Or a little extra med time to get that last AoE off. Maybe, better to be safe than sorry. Also, out of most quads you'll usualy AoE 3 of them to death, and the one that resisted a few times is left running for his life. Use a more efficient spell to finish him off. 7: Last thing to remember is that Quad Kitting realy dosen't work in the old world (Antonica, Fadewer, Euradin) because the old mobs run even when they have friends helping them.
My suggestion to a level 36 or so druid learning to quadkite is to pick on the Ulthork Hunters in EW. Great xp and a nice clear area to quad in. They even have (some) loot!

Incase anyone read this far, my last suggestion is to go for levels instead of loot. While good equipment helps ALOT to get levels, it isn't as good as another level. Don't do anything that will significanly slow down your xp. When you get to a fairly decent level (45+) start worrying about equipment when your making enough plat without realy trying to buy a few peices here and there. By the time you hit 50 you'll have all that equipment you'd been looking for earlier and working on mobs that drop the stuff you realy wanted and getting xp for it.

My highest level character is only 33, but I don't think I would have gotten that far if all I did was level. What works for me is periods of just grinding exp. (3 levels on the same three mushrooms in Dawnshroud this weekend), intermixed with some fairly serious ******** around (like getting the Qeynos Researchers badge-with a lot of help). There's actually some pretty neat stuff to do out there, and it can actually be a huge incentive to stick with the same character, because a lot of it even short of Vex Thal and Cazic Thule requires a pretty high level. Just my two cp, worth what you paid for it :).
