8 days here now not one bow over 300 mosb nailed, have otehrs in zone saying soon a si log bows drop liek crazy from golem, kileld over 376 golems in 9 days so thats impossible unles i ame being cheated blatantly by the game

5th construct I killed dropped the bow today. Random loot table is cruel.
According to Magelo, the drop rate for this is 1%. (Actually 1%, not <1%.)
So, it's not impossible that you could go that long without seeing it drop, especially since there were other people killing the same mobs.

vulak classic server, we went to hole this dropped almost rigt at start only me and sk wanted it, of course i got outrolled, we didnt see another one all night fo course

I got one of these the other night while PLing in The Hole. Perfect timing too. The rock I got it off of was the mob that dinged me to 50. Nice little keep sake! From what I understand this is a fairly rare drop. Though I got one of these off of only the 4th rock I killed. They give great exp though. I was getting 2-3% of a level off of each one. Gotta love that!

We had 2 drop last night on our way to Jaeil, but no IGS... 8(
got one of these tonight onn drinal server. my party was camping for the night after 4 hours there and someone near entrance got killed by golem, so me and cleric, the only 2 from group that had not logged decided to kill it, and LUCKY me, bow dropped. other warrior and ranger in group had already disbanded and got TL out. Told them bout it, very disappointed they were.

the max crit with a bow so i have heard is 718 damage

Using a similiar damage bow of doom (33 damage) and mithral champion arrows, level 60, Eagle Eye, EQ+AM3, I often hit what I think is the max crit for this piece of equipmentis (919) against a stationary, unrooted mob. Double that to (1838) for a max crit in Trueshot.

A long while back a fellow posted a screen cap of a 900+ crit, so there's higher possible
I use this bow, and I just hit 55 yesterday, and used Trueshot disc for the first time on none other than Trak. Here's my best hit I got:
[Sun Feb 03 07:53:27 2002] Your bow shot did double dmg.
[Sun Feb 03 07:53:28 2002] Trakanon was hit by non-melee for 308 points of damage.
[Sun Feb 03 07:53:28 2002] You hit Trakanon for 308 points of damage.
I wish that had been a crit, would've liked to have seen that damage, hehe. I think, though I'm not sure, that a crit doubles your damage dealt, so that would've been a 616 crit. (I've been long trying to determine the thing on how much the crit adds to damage, can anybody for sure tell me?)
*edit: This was using Tolan's Bracer summoned arrow, and I've only got 150 archery skill, very pathetic, I need to improve that*

got this bow yesterday, after we keeeeeled about 10 golems or so... been wanting this thing forever.. one of the best bows a warrior can get a hold of. hit for about 70 with it, with the best arrows i can make (7 damage, magic, 100 range).... it is miles better then my old spectral bow =)
this is a very nice bow, and the only higher damage bow in the game that i have seen is the ranger plane of air quest bow with a whoping 45 damage and 60 or 66 delay hehe, now just imagine a high lvl ranger with 10 damage arrows and trueshot disc., I wouldnt be suprized to see 1k crits with it hehe
Went on a hole raid the other night...dropped once out of about 25-30 golems that night. Hope that helps

Posted: Sep 02 2001 at 2:52 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) And when was the last time you saw a monk pull just ONE pull? Monks can deal nasty damage, but they shouldn't pull. Leave that to the real tanks, they can take the pounding better, and they start with better saves.
In almost every case, monks are the desired pullers because of their ability to split up added mobs...also in their absence..SK's do a great job, too.

We were tearing it up in the hole, having our level 61 ma single pull almost every mob there. the rest were np to mez. really an easy zone to raid as long as people pay attention. mobs drop fast and give great exp.

Don't forget rogue pullers. I can single pulls in certain area's where my monk friend cannot
Bards own everyone at AE group pulling. Enchanters can also pull with the fury and power, but I don't recommend that for most.

Follow players into hole carry a shiny brass idol for safety dont sit down and wait till this bow drops pick it up and get yourself the hell out of dodge <i have friends give me a gate potion > and WALLA ubertwink
Right, and that's assuming nobody in the group or raid will want it, and somebody always does. Otherwise you'll be a ninja looter that will have the poorest rep in the future and never find any friends, good luck gettin it though.

Anyone know how often the golems drop this? My pally really needs a good bow and this is it!

its a really really rare drop. I lead hole raids with my guild all the time, and only seen one drop, and i was the lucky winner.

I play on a pvp server and use this bow. My highest dmg shot with disc was on a lvl 57 DE necro... (525) Crit

I cringe at the thought of how much damage a high level ranger using disciplines could do with one of these bows and some good arrows...
uhh priceless/primal/matchless velium i think would beat this out (procs avatar and has some stats already on it and a way lower dly if not more dmg also.
Tho most have yet to see them and may not see them ever....
