Just soloed him last night and he dropped these and a nightshade scented staff. I was hoping for some ranger or rogue legs for my alts but oh well.

Bought a pair for 7K on FV. It still requires a peridot when cast.
Definately no longer requires peridots ever since the patch awhile back that removed so many material component requirements. My wife clicks hers all the time and she doesn't even carry peridots anymore.

Did you find out what the deal is with your pair? I just traded a good 25k worth of gear for these legs and it still uses pdots- too bad. Think i'm just going to sell them now.

maybe the person not seeing periodot use has a high level reagent conservation focus item and has had some lucky checks to see if the focus worked look for any message about another item glowing when you use the legs.

I just a pair of these today:)) I have not had much time to play with them, but I cast this on 7 toons in the bazaar and did NOT see my peridot stash (I keep six stacks on me at all times) go down at all...I *thought* while mana-less, these would still require one peridot per cast...a patch change perhaps? Or a bug? /em shrugs ... I hope a patch change myself as I can also use them for mana-less healing during down-time:)

Most likely, like most clerics, you had a second stack (or partial stack) of peridots in another bag. These legs have always eaten one per cast for me.
Got to love the bazaar. Picked these up for 15k.

These dropped off VS tonight on Karana server. Took us 2 tries but we nailed him 2nd time.
VS is no joke... its much more easy to get kael leggins in arena or something.
but these legs are nice, the effect is good for raid buffing 2nd tanks and casters, its manaless. very nice.

This may be a stupid question but...Do you need a gem in inventory to use trigger like you do for the spell? If not this will save us Clerics alot of money in having to buy gems for our symbol spells..well good hunting and safe journey to all.
Not a stupid question, but one that has already been answered in this thread. Yes, it still uses a peridot.

I picked a pair of these leggings up the other night on a VS raid. I uhm... had a heart attack... then I screamed at the top of my lungs, and fell over in my chair when I realized I had won the roll. These leggings are awesome, and such a nice prize for a VS raid well done. Thank you Vita Infinita, and Inevitable Storm!!!!

These leggings are fantastic stat-wise and also very difficult to obtain, but does anyone have any idea how much they'd sell for? I heard around 20-30k, but not sure.

I heard that somone was offered 100k for a pair on my server and turned them down. Well, these are just about the best cleric leggings that a cleric may obtain. If I was so lucky to get these, I doubt I would sell them either. Well, maybe, but It would have to be damn well worth it!!

And so am I. Some folk realize that the items fit into certain archetypes for the races, this being "all races capable of wearign plate". Think before you call people dumb, make sure you aren't fitting into your own description.

When you use the effect, it requires the spell component. All your saving is mana.

Does this bad boy eat a reagent everytime you use it? i think it is reagentless, but not sure. If so I wish my robe (effect : Rune4) didnt have to eat a peridot on every right click..

has anyone noticed that cleric kunark armor has really useful effects? (sept the helm)

i wouldn't call this effect nice, sure the stas are nice but the symbol effect using the peridot is cheap, i'd rather spend the mana on the 54 symbol and get more hp/duration out of the peridot i'm using

The whole suit goes pretty well i think. Helm is yaulp 2, not bad, not great, but still, the AC is what matters on that helm, the rest of the suit makes up for its lack of +wis or anyother stat you would be upset, considering the helm gives no stat. The arms have a great ac, and proc valor, along with the legs, who give a great symbol, and the gloves, which proc armor of faith (hoping that isnt the self only armor spell). with those 3 alone you could buff someone up very well.
Boots are AOE effect tremor, 120 aoe, not bad at all, 6 second casting time, but more for fun that really fighting. if a mob is low on health and so is the group, wacking a couple of them with this wouldnt harm, its for certain instances....BP which is obviously obscenely rare, procs that complete heal which verant is going to nerf, as a cleric i hate the nerf, but then again, any other class deserves it, its just too unfair combined with a tank ( i think it was if the mob cant kill the warrior in 12 seconds, then the tank is unkillable) so all in all i think the set is VERY amazing. i need the gloves, helm, legs, and bp, goodluck on me getting any of them...hah
