you only get 10 mana per point of wis at level 60, it is proportionally smaller if you are lower level, but the mana alone on this makes it better than BICs. Plus I'd like to have a bit more dex and agi, can you blame me?
Back when most of these posts, including this one, were made, this was a nice item. Unfortunately Sony doesn't upgrade rewards, no matter how difficulat the quest.
Pauldrons of witness, Deathewatcher's shroud, and weatherbeaten shoulderpads all are better than these, and relatively inexpensive in the bazaar.
This is a very old quest, and when it was first implemented, these were a fair reward. At this point, its not really worth investing the time to do it.
And yes, as the post below points out, 8th shawl is much better also, although a very involved quest to complete.
yeah, back in the day this was a pretty nice reward for the effort.... but that's all changed now. even though, i'm gonna start searching for "nature walker's" stuff, just because =). --Athenya Stargazer 63rd Druid of Tunare Vallon Zek PvP Teams
Braided IvyCords are NOT better than this item. Why you may ask? While this iem may only have 4 wis as opposed to the IvyCords 5, it also has +50 mana, which in the upper levels (Which you need to be in order to get his) equates to an addiional +5 mana, since 1 wis = 10 mana. The level 30 noob that posted the previous uninformed opinion needs to get a few more levels before he trashes somehing he is not yet eligible to get.
