Raw Dark Matter

Human necromancer got 2 of these to drop in Natimbi. I don't believe he can do tinkering and I'm positive he never did those tinkering quests on the ship. So I'm guessing they drop for anyone like the rest of the GoD specific tradeskill items.
Got this from a ra`tuk skullspliter in korofax, never did any of the quests.

I've done 2 berserker epic 1.5 and 1 cleric epic 1.5 utilizing the GoD zones and this never dropped until after I completed that series of crafting.
This was the bane of my existence doing the https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=3784 Beginner Mechanist Test because I was unable to make the Mana Battery Class 1.
It's annoying, but doing the task gets the drops to start happening. Once it drops you can combine it by itself in a toolbox to create Dark Matter, and then combine the Dark Matter with the Battery Casing 1 x5 to create the Mana Battery.
I've done 2 berserker epic 1.5 and 1 cleric epic 1.5 utilizing the GoD zones and this never dropped until after I completed that series of crafting.

This item must be very, very scarce. I have killed everything in the surrounding 3 zones (Barindu, and the other imbi's) and have collected 2

Got it from a mastruq havocblade in Qinimi.

Yesterday I had the Item Collector enabled when I found the Raw Dark Matter on the Mastruq Havocblade. At that time, the mob was absent from the Qinimi section list of this page and Raw Dark Matter was not seen as one of its possible loot of that mob. Therefore I reported it.
Today, both entries have been updated... Item Collector rocks!

This is used in tinkering. Talk to the tinker vendors in abysmal sea.
got one off a reef crustacean in natimbi. probably killed like 30 of these things, and it dropped just the one time. /shrugg
