Dont forget that in the recent dev talks its possible in the future that shields may be more of use to any class (including warriors) than they currently are.

Unless there's a furious bash augment....I don't think I could see a warrior using this. Not to say that there aren't some. But it would be a better use for the casters, Sk's and Pally's.

Then keep your SoS. The other 9 classes that can't use a Shield of Strife would gladly take this.

They don't have all classes of any one gear type listed as classes to wear. For example...Druid is listed but that is the only leather bearing class listed. They have some classes from each gear type (Plate...Leather...Chain...Silk), but not all classes from any one of those categories. SoE is going crazy on us.

All SILK classes are listed. Infact, all casters are listed other than BeastLords (and BRD and BER, if you count them). If your class can't use this item AND that makes you mad, then I would suggest that you quit EQ and delete your character as a sign of protest.

Hmm, maybe its all the classes that might ACTUALLY USE a shield. Some warriors like to use them....

You almost never see a ranger using a shield. However, with the advent of Endless Quiver and Archery Mastery a ranger could use a shield in secondary for the extra HP's and effects. And those are some darn nice effects on that =P. A very very kewl item for anyone who gets it.

Not playing a ranger myself I cant say I know all the ins and outs of the class, but from what I have read SoE was planning to make ranger dps more dependant on duel-wielding, rather than bow damage?
