Dropped off Noc Havocblade also

It also drops off of a Noc Darklurch in Natimbi. Got one today. So is this just vendor fodder? Weight is also wrong in pic. It is 8.0 stones now.

I can confirm SirExor's post. This dropped for me off of "a noc darklurch" at the lighthouse. Weight is 8 stones. Still no clue if it has a use or not, but since the Abysmal Sea armor quests have been "solved" it would appear it does not. Nothing on EQ Traders either.

since the quest armor hasn't yet been uncovered i'm hanging on to one for each of my plate whereing toons just in case. the buzz on Xev is that it is indeed for quest armor, and prices in the bazaar are confirming i think. saw one for 10k. not too high for a good bp, mind you. but still no ideas on turn in.

Any ideas on this yet? I got one last night.
Chances are it's not quest cause it's not no drop.
I"m gonna go hand it to that NPC and see what happens.

if you look at the armor quest in abys they say they will take armor and reshape it to work for different classes with other items and strenghting agent i believe these are the pieces for that and that the other items are the rare drops like ornate armor in planes where thread and ore are common but pattern is the rare drop.

I am wondering if this is just vendor fodder or if it too is for a armour quest of some kind?
If two dropped in 1.5 hours, I'm sort of doubting its' for any decent armor quest, if any. Though it is possible and the poster below got really lucky.

hmm well either way, usually drop rates are REALLY high when a new zone is opened, so it may actually be a quest piece...i'd hold on to it until GoD is researched a little bit deeper.
Dropped off the common dogs in the circle of kennels just inside zone of Nih.. (whatever, zone right off Broken Shores). Saw two drop in an hour and a half.
