Strange gift

So I'm in the PoK bank with my Halfling Druid and suddenly a trade window opens up and some one I never even saw, just hands me one of these.

Gonna give it to my smith for hauling ore.
Nice!!

Does anyone think that a group could farm these? well, just a thought...man im dumb...

Yes, you could farm these as a group by camping the mob (more useful if you have a large guild as a few people would love a cheap 10 slot 11% wgt reduct bag), but as lore you could only carry one eachback with you.
Very Useful Bag

I've got one word for everybody that says this bag isn't that useful because it only holds Small items or Tiny: ORE. A Block of Ore can weigh 18 to 30 stones but is small, so to be able to carry 10 blocks at no weight gain is a big plus. Even small bricks or ore weigh as much as some heavy weapons. I'm going after this guy for his cloak, but I'd be happy with one of these! Especially since I'm farming Acryllia for arrows shafts right now.

Yeah, it only holds small or tiny itmes but there are more small items than you might realize. I have had one of these on my monk for a long time and really like it. In addition to food and bandages, I keep anything that weighs more than .1 in it that fits... when full, I start moving stuff to my ralic pack by weight, lighter stuff first.
I started me a monk on a new server and farmed spiderling silks for pp. (lots of tradespeople on that server). I quickly (in under 4 days played) made about 10k pp off the silks and one of the first purchases was this bag for my new monk. I gave all my stuff there away soon after starting there though.

Moral of the story, this bag is not hum-drum. It is a sweet piece of gear that is well worth investing time or pp in. especially if you play a monk or cleric (heavy armor and weak str).

Got one of these last night (November 19, 2001), but lost the roll. It was not "No Drop". I looted it then handed it to winner of the roll.

Just got this tonight (nov. 16 2001) and it shows on here its just lore item. the one i got is lore item No drop. must of been changed? =)

I just noticed this with a Light Burlap Sack. If you have a no-drop item in the bag, it will change the bags tag to no-drop. Remove the item from the bag, the no-drop tag goes away.

Monk usage
# Jun 22 2001 at 12:40 PM Rating: Decent
I have one of these on my monk, and I love it. Very useful for carrying stacks of bandages, food, extra throwing stars, keys, and a piece of CHA gear (since he's an ugly Iksar). Much easier to acquire than a Tinkerers bag.

This is great for smithing! Those days you have to run to High Pass to carry sheets of MQ metal for making Plate, now get a lot easier when you have bag that makes 10 of the 15 pound sheets weightless.
RE: smithing!
# Sep 05 2001 at 6:44 PM Rating: Default
Of course, now it doesn't matter at all since sheets of metal are now stackable. So, unless you need a few hundred sheets at a time....
RE: smithing!
# Sep 24 2001 at 6:08 AM Rating: Default
No, but if you want to make Fine Plate armor, you need to lug the large blocks of MQ ore to the Forge and convert THOSE to MQ Folded Sheet of metal... using this bag, it's feasible to use the Forge in HH to convert the Blocks to Sheets, and carry enough to have a good shot at power-levelling fine plate smithing...
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 17 2001 at 5:15 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) It can only hold small sized items, so your sheets of metal cannot be carried in it, so much for that strategy
The small item restriction
# Apr 20 2001 at 11:35 PM Rating: Default
Yeah, this is certainly a Monk favorite. It weighs in at one stone but can hold 10 stacks of food, water, shuriken type things and a fair number of Tiny tagged items. With the changes to foodstuffs this will be even more popular with the Monks. It isn't exactly a waste for others either as the weight savings can be handy occasionally and the extra slots are decent for storing resist gear, potions, poison components and such. A bit of a waste but still an okey booby prize.
Not so good.... :(
# Feb 06 2001 at 4:16 AM Rating: Default
I won one of these today. I was ecstatic. Then I tried to put things in it. The fact that it doesn't hold anything larger than small items means its not so great. It doesn't hold very much.

Its good for monks to hold food/drink and throwing weapons I hear.
