Lost Dungeons of Norrath
Seems to me that this Aug is the Only tradeable Aug that Allakhazam pulls up. With that in mind I can see why it can be worth so much being able to upgrade all eight or nine ( ear x2 ) items listed and beable to sell them for a little more when you want to upgrade. Or twink them over.

The reason it cost so much is you can buy it 8 times for a total of 120 hps and 120 mana. Now as a cleric 120 mana does come in handy and extra HP does not hurt anyone.

I think you been out in the Sun to long,,,,your saying spend 6080 point's on this item to have it 8 time's ?? I am not even going to go into what you can buy for 6080 points that make this worthless for time spent.
Ok, so you have your LDON armor set with some good LORE HP/Mana augs. To do this, you've spent 20-30k AP (which even on hard is still 200-300 successful adventures). Now you want to round out your HP/Mana boost... you really think someone like that is going to blink at 6080 points?!
Just curious, anyone out there willing to dish out 760 points for something that adds +15 HP & mana? I might be willing to purchase this item from LDoN vendors in the double digit point range, but at 760?? not in this life time.
