A warrior wouldn't, but can you imagine... all the other listed classes can. Just because a warrior (or any other class) is listed on an item doesn't meen it must be geared to fit him/her in every way.
i play a wizard but...

ok first off i play a wizard as my main. so you all know there is no favortism here. in my humble opinion I would not merit these to a warrior. there are better gloves out there for em. my personal first choice of merit for this item would be clerics, and bards. clerics for obvious reasons, and bards due to the fact that no mana buff, or song regens thier mana. only flowing thought. and if the clerics had better, or there were no bards, i would say sk or paly. bottom line is tanks can get far better gear than this, and any tank greedy enough to bid or roll for these is just not a nice person. in fact most likely such a self centered jerk... that ghandi woulda slapped them.

Double check me on EQ diva, but ft effects on items, do not have any effect on bards.

I know the message is 2 years old, but it bothers me..

Pongu, Having played a bard to 55 and having several 70 bard friends.. bards DO benefit from FT..

Thank you.

i think pally and sk have just a need for ft as clerics or bard as the tank in my group dont get to sit down and if i have to wait on them to get mana im not exactly happy

This is not meant as a flame in any way, Im just giving my opinion here. My main is a SK, and I would pass on these in a heartbeat if there is a paly in the group without them. SK have litch plus a mana proc. I can use roughly a quarter of my mana per fight and never drop below that when in skeli form, so for me to roll on these would be sheer greed (imho). I am not making an argument for who should get these, I am simply stating that I belive a paly will benifit more from them than I would.

Now... that said, if no clerics bards or palys rolled on these things I would love love love to snag them! I would loose some AC with them but for those mana intensive fights these would bring my FT regen to 13, almost to cap! Great gloves and well worth the fight.

Shadowknights get mana taps and I think mana tap procs as well.

FT on it and they put warrior as useable class? wut guild would give this to their warrior on a raid... in their right mind

You don't notice a pattern there? It's plate class usable, so they let ALL plate classes use it if they want. It's probably best for SKs, followed closely by clerics (no wis on it for clerics though). So what if they let warriors use it. Many things in the game are usable by more classes than the "ideal" classes for the item. So what?

So what?

There are many, many more warrior usable items in the game with str and hp than there are items with flowing thought that the mana using plate classes can use.

So don't be in a guild/group that would award this to a warrior except as a last resort then.

Any guild's warrior doing this event would have Velious quest or Kizrak's at least which are all (not very arguably) better (exception Berserker's only slightly lacking) save the str, but str is too easy to max for war.
Basically, this is not much of an upgrade for the warriors who'd be there.

/agree SuBone plus any warrior who would be greedy enough to bid//roll on an FT item probably doesnt have a guild anyway...or wont have one for long, its actually very unlikley that the guild would allow the warrior to bid on this item even tho the class is listed
