Wow, would be crazy to give this to anything but a cleric. Though this is just my 2cp on the item. Gratz to the person who obtained this.

a CH chain cannot be use on every mob in PoP zones, not even half of the mobs. there are very many mobs that aoe stun or knock back or that do something to interupt casting. many times you will have to use a fast heal chain. not to mention most of the time clerics ARE the backup healers, just because you have say 10 clerics with you doesnt mean you put all of them in the chain, and not to mention clerics have the best ratio fast heals and the fastest casting. the only time any other priest class is used as back up healers is if the raid is short on clerics. i dont know if you've ever played a cleric but at lvl 65 i use my faster heals much more then CH especially on raids. sorry but you wouldnt give a cleric an improve dmg item over say a mage just because they can nuke would ya?

I don't think you understand what he said "It'd be crazy to give to anything BUT a cleric"

So he would agree with what you are saying.

I think he is responding to the two posters below. Ideally, a druid's only healing duty will be MGB wood and possibly healing group members. If you have Druids healing the main tank it means you are either short on clerics or CH Rotation doesn't work on this particular mob. Ideally, your spam healers are all clerics as well, they will pack more punch and last longer than a similarly equipped Druid.

Druids are useful to have around because they can fill a LOT of gaps in a raid. Short on DPS? Throw a druid in there. Short on healing? Throw a druid in there. Need to move from target to target? Set up a druid port chain. You get the idea. The problem is that this versatility means that there is not likely to be anything that drops on a raid that you look at and say "OOH THATS A DRUID DROP FOR SURE!!!" short of making drops druid only, the only way druids will get nice gear is if you give them and even shot at stuff. If the druid wants it, let him have a shot. this augment will make the druid about as mana efficient on his fastheals as a very average cleric of the same level but its still a big jump for th druid.

I have to agree with ladykristine. Since were talking about Elemental and higher guilds that will obtain this, the backup healers would NEED this considering they use short heals all the time in the raid scenarios. Cleric's are generally doing the CH Wheel. Not to say that Clerics shouldn't get it, but if your talking about a raid scenario, everyone would benefit from having your backup healers heal better.

Not meant to flame but because Cheal and %heal are excluded, splash/backup healers will gain great benefit. Not to say any one is better than the next but gotta keep those backup healers in good form too!
