These dropped during at least Luclin on Aradune. I farmed them during GoD and it took 15 minutes to gather these or so for me.

I was expecting a long time looking for this drop because of ealrier comments, but I got 5 of the phase spider silks in about half an hour with my 67 ranger and a tank mercenary.
On magelo it lists it at 14.73%.
Meaning out of 543 recorded loots, 80 had a phase spider silk.
That means that if you farmed 543 spiders you will get 40 combine attempts for skillups. Not very good.

Indeed, this drop rate is pretty bad. I have killed about 40 of these today and not seen a single phase silk.
These are used in the Ranger Epic 2.0 quest, in the early 1.5 stages. Four are combined in our fletching kit, along with Pine Sap foraged in Nedaria's Landing, to create the net portion of our Large Butterfly Net.

Farmed about a stack of these out of DN and tried combining for easy skill increases and was told my skill in my trade was not high enough to attempt this combine. That was tailoring 162 so not sure what min skill is required to make these.

You need a modified skill of 165 in Tailoring to attempt this combine.
If your skill is 162, you should be able to do the combine if you get a Geerlok Sewing Contraption, or some other item with a tailoring mod on it.

The skill of 165 is required for the combine with two Phase Spider Silks to make a Phase Spider Thread.
I have not heard of a minimum skill neeeded for the Ranger Epic 1.5 Butterfly Net recipe.

For Ranger 1.5 Quest
Triv = 15(fletch), for combine with Pine Sap to make Phase Netting.
Triv = 15(fletch), for combine of Phase Netting with Long Net Pole to make Large Butterfly Net.

This is used in the Oracle quest, however unlike ether strands, this combine can increase your talioring skill, and while this is perhaps one of the simplest combines to get pass 200+ in the game for any tradeskill, getting enough of these silks to make any headway in the skill is difficult at best as these silks are uncommon drops.
