There is a EB Aug called Slimestone of Suffication for 340 AP from S.RO merchants.
or
the EB Aug above for 510 AP from BB.
From what I can see, they both seem the same so not sure why the difference in AP to get. I know Deepest Guk Adventures seems a tad harder and very laggy for me, so maybe Sony is giving ya a break on AP's for adventures in S.RO.

The Aug in S.RO is a type three. Type three slots are harder to find on gear. That is why it cost less AP.
As far as I know, type 3 slots are found ONLY on AP point purchased gear from the adventure merchants.
Type 8 gear drops in Time, and GoD raid zones.
Since LDON gear is far inferior to PoTime/GoD gear, I'm thinking they figured it should cost more, since you can use it on better armor. Plus, Time+ equipped people can more easily do Hard aventures, and collect points faster.

type3 is also found on a few GoD items. Breakdown in Communications quest comes to mind.

Woooo Enduring breath is an effect you dont need 65+ but they give it to you for 510 point and assume you need it for your Plane of TIME gear!

Remeber that Elemental zone with all water ?!?!?!
EB is always something needed and doesnt hurt to have it.
Reason this one is 8 is so People have the choice of what piece they want to put it on
Slot 3, 7, or 8
Actually, there are very few time drops that have EB. Also, there are still type 7 EB augments as well that are just slightly more expensive.
