I hope that there is more to this item than just a type 1 and type 2 slot for 84AP....
Hopefully AC at the minimum?

I would guess, being a shield, that there is some AC on this, at the least? Does anyone have a picture, or can confirm this?

Also, I don't have LDoN yet, how hard is it for adventurers in the 30-45 level range to get APs? How many do they get per successful mission?

I have a friend who plays a level 65, and I believe he said he gets 51 per? So would 20-30 be about the correct range? Thanks for any info you can provide!! And, take care!

I am currently level 63. I have done adventures with all other members in the group at level 65 and I get 47 points for a successful mission. I have also grouped with all members lower level then me and I have recieved 34 points for a successful mission (lowest member was the 57 cleric). Hope this gives you a better idea.
Additional info: Points you earn at one camp are cannot be used to purchase items at another camp.

Couple things:
First, I have two characters that I LDoN with, getting on average 10-12 points for the level 42, and 18 points for the 52. The point scaling system is pretty horrid. Expect 84 points to take a LOT of missions close to level 30, down to about 6 missions at level 45.

Second, you can use points earned at any camp towards a purchase - i.e. I can earn 10,000 points at MistMooreCatacombs and use them at the Takish'Hiz vendor. However, I will only be able to buy things that I have scored point values for in Tak. What this means is if I earned 160 points at Tak at any given time while earning the 10k points in MM, I can use my points from MM to buy any number of items in Tak with a maximum value of 160. Unfortunately, I would not be able to buy anything with a greater value until I "unlocked" the higher items in that specific theme.

Ugh, hope that made more sense to read than it did to try and say.

Most camps will allow you to buy Misc items regardless of the total AP points you have.

There are camp specific items that you NEED to have the proper amount of camp points to purchase.

Take ButcherBlock Wayfarers for example

If a Item says you need 220 MistMoore points to buy that is it, you need to have those 220 points earned in MistMoore to purchase that item. You can NOT use another other points.
AND...
The Adventure Merchant will state that you need the proper amount of camp points to purchase that item if you lack the amount of camp points.

Hope that clears everything up on the purchasing of items within a certain camp theme.

Not quite true. I have 132 points in Tak earned total. No more. I have a total of about 400 points from all camps. Yesterday I bought a cloak for 60 points, and a haste aug for 100 points, both from the Tak merchant. Note that this is 28 points more than my total earned in Tak, but that each individual item is under the 132 that I had. You simply need to earn enough points in a theme total equalling the item, although you can use points from ANY theme to buy items you have access to.

Hope that clears up any further misconceptions before they propagate fully.

I have not encountered any problems spending points that I have earned (maininly in BB) at other vendors including spending more theme points than I had actually earned at another camp. Example I have 61 pts earned from 3 missions in EF, I currently have roughly 300+pts saved up and was able to buy the next higher unlocked item on the EF vendor even though I had only earned 61 in that theme. I.E. Pack Shrew for 72.
Thus, maybe there is some kind of restrictions on specific items, but I have not found that to be the case yet.

There are restrictions on zone specific items. I believe most of the spells are not zone specific, so you could buy pack shrew with points earned in a different zone. This is not the case with most items (you have to unlock the items by earning enough points in the zone; once unlocked, points accumulated in ANY zone can be used to purchase)

You can not spend more points on zone-specific items than you have earned in that zone. Spells are generally not zone-specific (i.e. you can buy Pack Shrew in EF with points earned in BB before you have accumulated enough EF points to cover the cost). However, most non-spell items are zone-specific, and you cannot buy them until you unlock enough points in that zone.

One other thing to beware of is that once you buy something in a zone, you may stop unlocking new items until you accumulate enough points (from any zone) to make up for what was already spent. For example, I earned 200 points in BB. I then spent 150 points on a BB-specific item, and 30 points on a second item. If I then earn 130 more points in BB for a total of 330, I will still not see items that cost 330 points in BB, even though I have accumulated 330 points in BB, because I currently only have 150 points in BB. I will have to earn 180 more points (from any zone) to start unlocking items that cost 330 in BB.
