Perhaps Vsmith meant get this Augment and also the Radiant Diamond of Regeneration Augment. Both produce the Vampire Kiss Proc, so I would suspect that's what (s)he must have meant.
I have had a Proc augment since day one on my Warrior and to date, even checking my logs, I have NOT had both the CoHS's normal proc and the Aug Ykesha 75dd proc on the same SWING. I have had 4 procs on a quad though, thats 4 swings and 1 proc for each swing. Oddly enough it was 50/50 for weapon proc and Aug proc though I have no idea what that suggests. I'd also put money down that Steel Warrior has an in depth discussion likely with tests up for further info. I'd link it but am too dam tired today. Oh and Happy Soon-to-be New Year!

IIRC, you can't get multiple procs from the same weapon on one swing, but you CAN get 1 proc each from pri/sec per ROUND... regardless of whether or not your dual wield check actually succeeds, causing your secondeary hand to swing.
I have both Black diamond & radiant diamond procs one on a Savage Platinum Fist 15/18 and one on a Hand of Honor 25/31, so thats 3 lifetap procs 2 Disease based 1 fire based. With my Dex maxed at 305 plus i have all my healing AAs maxed it actually hits for 83Hps all the time plus crits like mad since it can crit 2 different ways Heal crit or Spell crit either way it lifetaps for like 180Hps ALOT.
Its not uncommon to get up to 8-10+ procs in just a min or so with several crits. Thats anywhere from 600-1300+Hps during just a 1min or little over fight as long as im down on HPs. Thats just about the same as having that many extra HPs. Raid buffed im at about 7800Hps currently, add these lifetaps in and im averaging over 8400+ not bad for wearing leather :)
looking forward to putting this aug in my 2hander from the emporer...double life tap procs are gonna help out alot . it all adds up in time . plus with all my AA i can crit and get double the healing amount plus super crit and get even more with spell casting fury
I'm Thinking this Proc Would be a Superb Upgrade for a Lamentation, but thats just my opinion. there could be better weapons out there with lower delays and higher damages that would benifit more, Just saying that i have a lammy and that my warrior would definately be more effective with a few 75 point "free" heals *wink*
/agree with Karlea - It's my understanding as well, that each time you swing your weapon it has a chance to proc. Original proc gets first chance at procing and then augment procs get a chance. As soon as the weapon procs that's it, subsequent chances are cancelled until next swing.
NOt having used proccing weapons much (though soon to change), I'm looking for some info on the topic. Above it says if you augment, or spell effect to add a second proc, they can't both proc on the same hit, but can in the same round, this is quickly followed by the next person saying they can't both proc in the same round. Which is it. And seeing the Reskrid's comment about spell effect procs, a question immediately begging for the asking is, if your weapon has three procs (i.e. original, augment, spell effect), will ALL three check in succession on the same hit/round. Realistically if they did, wouldn't a higher level character be proccing virtually every round.
Perhaps if level had anything to do with proc rate. But I suspect that wasn't really what you meant...from what i understand of what you're saying, the answer would be yes, there's a lot of procs for ya.
Weapons with 2 procs on them aren't working like that. Both procs can't activate in the same round.
It's pretty much like this, the original weapon proc of your weapon is always checked first. If it procs your augmented proc won't even be checked for anymore and gets no chance to activate. If the original proc did not activate, the 2nd (augmented) proc of the weapon will be checked and might proc.
You 'might' be right, but I know it does NOT work that way with spell-imbued procs like Mental Corruption, Shroud of Death, etc., so I have to remain curious until I hear it from Sony or try it myself with an aug.
My only experience in double proc capable weapons are with the venomous axe of the velium brood and with Ghoulbane, stacked with the spell instrument of nife.
To date I have never seen both procs go off on the same swing, but I've had times when one proc or the other went off on each swing of a double attack.
Based on this, and presuming that augmentations will not change the rules, only which procs apply to the weapon, I would interpret this to mean that either proc can go off on a single attack, but that both procs will not go off on a single attack.
Since this is not officially stated anywhere, the best we can do is estimate the rules from our own observations.
