Ok, now this is a new one for me.

Make a staff, make it 1hb, give it +10 to Intelligence and not have it available for any classes that would benefit from this in actual combat. Nice and fast, for building up skills and some decent DPS, but an actual INT caster or hybrid, like a SK, would benefit more from this weapon. This is almost as bad as the Shaman only gloves that give +5 to Intelligence. Oh well tho, these will be good for tradeskills.

Bard's mana pool is based on int.
SKs get much better 1hb for dirt cheap anyway.
The warrior, monk, bard and rogue could hold it while working on tradeskills.

warrior rogue bard and monk would use STR to get tradeskills higher. This staff if vendor trash.

accualy that is nhot true. It is based on Wis or Int. And even some trade skills use Dex. Int is good for combat skills as well. Im have heard that a Gnome warrior will get his/her skill quicker then that of a Ogre warrior, just because a Ogre is abouty as smart as my pet rock, and the gnome is a genious.

only partially right, Blacksmithing (which the classes that could use this weapon are most likely to undertake) is partially if not wholly based on strength according to many parsings (check out eqtraders.com). I, however, have noticed that INT and WIS also help for smithing even when lacking in STR, so maybe they are incorrect, but i havent gone over 188 on any toons yet.
