Still a little confused on ldon points. I was under the impression that if you do ldon's at , oh lets say Mistmoore, the points you get from the ldon can only be spent at mistmoore. Is this true, for I would love to do any ldon and save my points for this BP. Or do I have to do EF ldon only to spend there. GollumM6805@yahoo.com please email me if you know the answer or post here. Thanks
Points earned in LDoN adventures may be spent anywhere in any theme. However, you may not spend X points on a themed item unless you have earned at least X points in that item's theme already.
This BP has susbstantial potential. To see that a Non-guilded player can achieve a BP that can only be rivaled by a tier 4 BP is saying allot as to how much the game has changed. This BP will easily surpass the farwater BP with the three augments spent correctly. If you have the time to equip your toon(ranger for me) in a full set of incorporeal then augment vengence AC and HP you are looking at one powerful SOB. Its refreshing to know that for some of us who dont have as much time to play as others, thus cant dedicate time to finding a grp(or waiting for camp/spot to open)that drops the ornate chain pattern needed can obtain this EVENTUALLY with a few hrs per day ldon raiding. With the bazaar prices going haywire recently its great not to have to settle for "buying" for outrageous prices and will make most people "earn" the gear they wear.
this BP would be very nice for pvp after u add the SvM aug in there, and this will be the next piece of armor for my ranger, will defenatly upgrade my Tae ew
I agree =) If you're the type of ranger that likes to beable to take a beating. On the other hand being an atk junky ranger that can Jolt away enemies than I'd have to go with str atk hp augs.
Just my opinion, play how you want to play and have fun doing it.
Correct me if I'm wrong (please, over and over until you have to scroll 3 screens to get to the end of the flames) but didn't the slot types used to be 2/2/3? When and why in the hell was that changed? Doesn't seem to me that it was overly powerful (considering you'd have to spend 2300 points to get two really nice type 2 augments) and yet it was changed. Is it just me or is Sony really limiting us players unnecessarily?
I have one of the originals. Within 10 days after the release of LDoN, these were nerfed to the current 1/2/3. Few had accumulated the 30+ wins needed for the EF armor at that point. After about 3 days, my worn BP was patched back to the original 2/2/3 status, and Sony said that BPs bought before the patch were restored to their original slots, but all future sales would be of the nerfed variety.
Since this all happened so quickly after the expansion launched, my guess is that Sony decided having a handful of 2/2/3 BPs on the servers would not impair the balance (I'm never quite sure what that means.)
They also changed the AC8 aug at that time, the Brittle Coal of Prowess or something similar, excluding tanks from the list of useable classes. That seemed to cause more anger than the Incorpreal nerf, actually.
Is this one of those theme items that i need 1492 in "everfrost" adventures...or will any adv points work? (still confused on how the theme listing works)
so if i earn the 1492 points in Everfrost, then leave and go to South Ro and earn another 1500 points there, i could go back to Everfrost and get two items that cost 1492?
THe best way to think of it is how many like this, all the points you get go into one pool that you buy stuff from. But each wayfarer camp tracks how much you've earned there separately for purposes of what you can buy there. Example, once you earn 500 in Mistmore catacombs, you can buy items in that theme up to 500 cost, no matter where the points are gotten. Hope that helps.
