will they stack?

I have a silly question I bet, but I gotta ask anyway as I dotn know the answer...

will flowing thought items stack? like say you have a ft1 and ft3 items, will you then get ft4? or just the effects of highest lvl item?
RE: will they stack?

Flowing Thought items stack up through FT15. That is, if you have FT1 and FT3 items, you do indeed get FT4, but if you have FT items totalling 18 points of FT, you only get 15.

Just as of a patch or two ago, FT now maxes out at 25 rather than 15.

You are correct but I will expand upon your one liner.

FT or Mana Regen cap from Items ONLY = 15 FT.

You can increase your cap with Omens AA's = 20 FT

*NOTE: Mana Regeneration from AA does NOT count against your Mana Cap you get from your items.

For example: I have 19 FT from augs, gear ect...
My normal FT cap = 15 FT. I have spent 10 AA on my OOW FT cap to raise my cap 2 points = 17 FT.
I also have spent AA's on my Mental Clarity which gives me a FT of 2.

Gear & Augs = 19 FT.
Increased Aug cap = 17 FT.
Mental Clarity AA = 2 FT.
MY TOTAL FT so far = 19

I could spend an additional 6 AA on Mental Clarity to raise it to 3 AA FT that does NOT count against the cap. My FT would go up to 20.

I could also spend 15 more AA to raise my FT cap to 20pts. (cost is 5 AA per 1 point of FT cap increase).

In my case I would get the following:
Mental Clarity = 3 FT.
Gear & Aug's = 19 FT. (I would need 1 more FT aug or item to max out my cap).

You could look at the cap as 20/23. 20 = items&gear. 23=Mental Clarity with Max FT gear.

OK that is what I know for a fact. Let us chat about the post above that states a cap of "25".

I have not gained enough FT or AA's to test the full length of the cap but you might be able to increase your FT cap by :

1. DoN quest progression? I know they can raise your stat caps. Perhaps you can raise your FT cap doing the missions?
2. Some AA ability that I have missed besides the OOW FT cap increase.
3. Some Fancy Uber Item that gives you a FT cap increase?
4. Some Tribute FT cap increase that I have missed?
5. Act of God? Bug? Hacker? Who knows. But I am open to learning.

The new cap is 23. Your analysis is accurate. There is no additional way to raise the cap, as of this time.

Is Miragul's the only dungeon where you can get flowing thought items? So far I have only seen them coming from the Everfrost camp. Anyone seen any others?

There's a cheap FT 1 aug out of NRO that's slot 3. https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=25131 It's 340 AP and goes into https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=23740 from Everfrost at 292AP. So for a grand total of 632 AP you can gt a fairly good ring with FT 1 and another free Aug slot to boot.

Immortal's Bloodied Robe is as good as it gets in LDON.

I suspect I'll add 40mana/40hp augs for the type 2.

This aug is not a FT2... it is a INT +9

The cheapest FT2 item is Brilliant Enchanted Prism found in EF for 510 AP's and is a type 3.

Still a good item, but not 642 AP's....but rather 952 AP

I am guessing he meant to:

1) Get the robe
2) Then add the FT item as type 3
3) Then add the Int item as type 2

Just hard to read the way he wrote it, but I am sure he meant it that way. He put too much info in there for me to believe he didn't know what he was talking about. :)
ft2 for non chestpiece
