Was down in LGuk and a raid dropped the Fabled EE but all it dropped was the regular bag, not a fabled version. I found this kinda weird did they nerf the fabled items already but keep the fabled mobs?
Hi all I have just done this bag about 8 times and have learned a few things that I would like to share with you:
1. Dont kill frogs at all costs cause being kos in this zone makes getting bag harder.
2. Im a 49 ranger and with being buffed I can kill the eye with no problem root dot dot both arrows and beat the hell out of it keep using both arrow spells on it. It will be over in less than a min. The dot's seam to make it harder for it to cast on you.
3. Dose any one konw how to raise your faction with the damn frogs.
Question: How could you have "Done" this bag eight times? It isn't quest first of all, and its lore. Unless you mean you went to camp it 8 times and killed the mob that many times, but again the bag is lore..
Bought one today for 250pp. it is "LORE", but it's NOT "NO DROP". Came along at a good time too! PC was in Rivervale doing WTS for 250pp. looks like i got a good price. :)
I (level 46th enchanter) invised, ivu'd, mezzed, and memblurred my way to the evil eye. When I got there, he was up so I mezzed him and threw every debuff i had on him. Summoned my lvl 44 pet (he's lvl 37 or below), and hasted and str buffed him... rune 3'd myself (300 hp if my memory serves me correctly), and nuked the EE. Broke mez and he dissapeared for a few seconds running through a tunnel. As soon as i saw him, I rooted, he proceeded to nuke me with the level 29 enchanter nuke (rune 3 resisted, but it got my pet on him). I chain nuked and stunned him to death, all in all I lost rune 3 and 250 hp, and half my mana, bag dropped first try. Pet full HP. Just some adcice, he is not that difficult to handle if you're careful. Of couse, I am lvl 46, mebe that helped a bit... I didn't get any adds in the 5 or so minutes i was there. Just be sure to invis and ivu carefully on your way there. Enchanter mezzes and memblurs help a ton in sticky situations.
Just bought it today from someone, so it isn't No Drop. Check to make sure you don't have anything in it that is no drop, because that makes a bag no drop.
I got one from a merchant in the EC tunnel for 12pp today! Muahahaha!! And to think I only stopped by cause I was waiting for dawn to pass through Kithicor on a corpse run...makes me not mind dying so much.

when I first og this bag with my monk it was just lore then the next time I logged on it was no drop and then I had it change abck a couple days later to just lore so I traded it to my other monk and well it went back to no drop and all of this was during a period of about 2 weeks and there were no patches during that period so I think it jsut changes by itself I know that sounds far fetched but it is true
it was posted recently on the EQTraders boards that putting a NO DROP item into a container makes the bag/box/purse/etc NO DROP. I confirmed this myself, as Deluxe Sewing Kits are NOT no drop and putting my JBoots in it made it no drop.
If the item was dropped during a GM event then alot of times those are NODROP versions of old objects. Yesterday in Queynos Hills a friend and I dropped a named Zombie and on him were several no drop class specific pieces and a NODROP version of the Shiney Black Stone. I think this is a new trend in the game, if there is a GM quest, then the item will be NODROP.

Entirely possible for him to have 2, if they're on two different characters. Lore only means you can only have one per character, not one per account, duh.
Once again the lore thing is done on coding... I'm pretty sure if one said no drop and other didn't ( didn't read much on the issue here, but if they did at some point drop no drop bags ) then the coding would be slightly altered and they wouldn't be counted as the same item, so if that was the case it is possible ( in theory ) to have 2 of these on 1 character

I got one a day ago, there was a GM event where a werewolf named Sardark(somethin like that) was goin around killing stuff in WC. Then some people, including me, finnally got on him, more and more people were gathered around killing him. There was about litterally 50 people when he finnaly dropped, and I got the loot :)
He dropped 29pp, AFTER the rogue were running aorund pickpocketing him. He dropped an Ebon war spear, two handed hammer(these are dumb), Enamelled black mace, and a bag of the sewn evil eye. 50 people rolled on each one, exept the two handed hammer, it was 13/56, yikes. Well, I got the mace, and the spear, but when someone got the roll for the bag, I was able to give it to him.
So there ya go. It is droppable. Also, Sardark was red to a 37 warrior....just a little useful info...

Then, you just gave the bag away? Above this post, and made at a later date, you talked about not knowing if it was No Drop or not but you'd go see if your brother's were (both of your brother's Lore bags). Shut up, dude.
Learn to read. He said some got the roll for the bag. If you spent as much time reading a post than flaming it you would also know that winning more than one roll does happen(not often). So next time learn to read and shut the hell up!!!!!!
Falc is right we were in the EE room last night and killed him 3 time and all 3 times the bag dropped and the spawn time was 29 mins...we either pulled blues to room while we waited or I worked on swimming and healed when needed...Ok I admit it I also fished while i waited in room :o)..well good hunting and safe journey to all.
I took this guy out yesterday. 1 35 bard 1 45 pally and a 40 shadow knight! the spawn time was 29 minutes exactly(give or take a few seconds)we all 3 got bags the ee always drops them...good to get a cold restistance buff... hope you get it..its CAKE
The eye itself is rather easy, getting to the spawn is harder than the eye itself. If not done properly a host of green mobs can be a rather frustrating end to your journey. These green mobs can grow like ants on a piece of dried fruit. Dont recall what lvl i did this at again but maybe around the low forties and the mino's loved to gang lynch, but after getting to the spawn every eye dropped the bag with maybe a 15 or 20 minute spawn rate. Everyone left with a bag and a few others who were there did also. Easy camp for a bag like this. I am a warrior so the weight of the bag in comparison to all the weapons i carry is a tremendous asset. A monk would most likely find this bag useless.
I really think that was a typo, he was talking about how good the bag was then he ended with monk would find this usless, I think he meant to say they would find it usefull.
A monk would find this useless? Mine is currently using a tailored backpack to carry standard things such as food, water, bandages, and shurikens. Swap that out for this one, same weight with 60% more WR & it would be a rather large benefit.
You've got to be kidding me! A monk would LOVE this, has the same weight and number of slots as a standard backpack, with 70% weight reduction. A monk would definitely not find this useless when he's trying to carry away loot that he'd otherwise have to dump becuase the weight's too much. I'd imagine monks would pay more than anybody for one of these.
Just had a GM event in East Commonlands on Vazaelle. There were 2 Dark Elf Rogues running aound. 1 Male, 1 Female. Names were "A Sneaky Thief" and "A Shady Thief". I got in on the kill of the female. I was able to loot a Bag of the Sewn Evil Eye. The Thiefs were about lvl 40. Dolor Noctem 41 Druid Vazaelle
All you have to do is sit on the lil island in the middle of the water. I could take this solo at level fourty or so. A group could easily take at thirty-five. Place holder is a froggy shaman with pet (if you let him summon it). Bag always drops. EE spawn is pretty common...Maybe two or three frogs before it spawns. Around a seventeen minute spawntime I believe. Don't have to worry about adds (as long as you don't let it run) like that guy said...Just stay in the middle. The eye has a pretty hard nuke so keep him stunned. Easy kill though.
Not quite that easy to get as the previous poster indicated. This evil eye is somewhere in the high 30's, has been confirmed to at least con red to a lvl 35. Killing him is the easy part. Getting down to him is the hard part. He has two types of froglok placeholders, normally a bit lower level than the evil eye is.
Frogloks and Greater Minotaurs roam the three passageways just outside the Evil Eye room. If you fight him on his ledge in his room, you'll have no problem, but if you pull him to one of the room exits, you may pick up an extra mob or two from the passageways. Trains are always a possibility too, but very rare.
Camp checks are common in Guk; be sure EE isn't taken when you first get there. Campers may be invis while waiting for spawn and there are multiple camp spots there.
