Hate to sound so negative guys and gals but there is no way a lvl 18 gets any advantage out of a recommended lv 65 bow....24 dmg regardless of speed works out to .....what......8 dmg?...and a corresponding drop in the MINOR stats too....seems there would be better choices...anyone now some pls list as options / peace
My 18 ranger on FV server picked this up for a hair under 10k last night as I wanted something faster than my Bow of Doom that did not have a process. I was hitting in the mid 20s to lower 30s using Hunter's Barbs and several critical hits pushing 60 and slightly over.
Not bad considering the recommended level means a damage fade in and it shows the bow should only be hitting for 7 for me. We'll see what happens as level increases. This won't replace my Bow of Doom due to damage, stats and range... but it will be a welcome addition for when I need something faster that still hits hard.

get a blessed faydark thunderbolt. Much better weapon unit u can get the compound bows or until ur at least level 50. its delay might be up there a little, but ur normal shots will be around 60-80
bought for 8k on tribunal very nice bow. so it doesnt have 100 hps mana and such but the damage output is good.

Someone ooc'd this in pok yesterday on Torvonnilous Server for 10k then dropped to 9k. Later in bazaar was selling for 39k.

I usually equip a stonewood bow, but this wouldn't be a bad alternative to the feathewood for the limited use of headshot. It's better than a bow of true balance just because you can get better damage output while waiting for HS to fire - and there's no proc like there is on the featherwood that breaks root...
It lacks the 100HP/Mana, 5% archery, and better ratio of a featherwood, but at least on Brell, the featherwoods are still going for 125k-ish. So, if I could find this for under 40k, I would pick it up and pocket the difference :)

For the low damage, I should expect to see it have more slots. Some of these items should have the level lowered, and probably will have after a while.
With those stats I'm kinda supprised its a recomended lvl 65 bow. Even with the ratio. All in all though an excelent bow for all usable classes. I can tell you my SK would love to have this for the STA and INT the SV disease would help too. I'll be we will see this in the bazaar at some point...

You have to realize, that 99% of rangers using this will use a fleeting quiver, which lowers the delay. On low delay weapons, this increases the ratio substantially.

Sigh, saw Ykeshan Spirit bow and I got all excited thinking it would proc Ykesha. Not incredible proc, but nice and always neat to see a theme continued, even expanded to a ranged weapon. Alas no such luck. And aside from it's admittedly good ratio (especially when you consider that you add your arow damage in, very nice at that low of a delay), it just doesn't seem to be all that exciting a bow for reccomended level 65. Though I am thinking about that 24/27 ratio again, and while it's nice, you'd think for 65 recc, a proc, some dex, more hp, sigh.
Depending on whether you solo or group more, DD procs aren't always desireable... makes root/dotting a pain... but for groups or arrow kiting then the Ykeshan spirit proc would be fine... as long as ya don't pull agro from the group's MT... ;)

i am a 62 ranja with a nightmarewood bow and have not had any agro problems from the process (http://www.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=370) and it will process about 3-4 times a mob in groups and a bunch more for raids.
