slot 3 plus 20 attack sold in sro camp lore but 2 different versions. slot 2 plus 40 hp sold in nro camp not lore, makes this better than ornate for melee. mana regen is better for clerics on ornate.
Can slot 3 a FT2 aug, then add +40 mana for type 2, and a +10 wis aug for the slot one. Would be better for cleric than ornate :D

This armor set is definately better than Ornate. With some augments this armor gets way better stats. Sure ornate armor does have some nice effects. There are some pieces like the bracers that have had their effects taken off and these are obviously better. Lose one ac pt but you gain lots of more hps...now ornate is easier to get thats for sure hehe, unless you have the worst luck in the world...like me :)

Ornate has not had any effects removed. They have just been renamed. For example, the FT2 on cleric bracers now shows up as mana regen +2.
Vengeance now shows up as attack +10, hp regen +1 (or higher for better versions of vengeance).
For a warrior, I'd tend to agree with you, this plate is better than ornate. However, for my cleric, I chose ornate for almost all slots, except for the BP. This was due to the fact that there are not augments in LDON to replace the effects I need, most notably the mana pres 4 and improved healing 4. As a cleric, I'm willing to sacrifice some hp, ac and other stats, for effects that make my effective mana pool MUCH larger.
If I were equipping my warrior, I'd go for the royal attendant armor for sure.

LOL, about the only good pieces of Ornate for a cleric are just Arms, Boots and Wrists. And the boots and arms teh suck with crappy stats.
