Tadanii is correct, the trivial is well below 250. Electrum jewelry trivials in 130 range (if I remember correctly). For a good list of trivials, check eqtraders.com. Most likely, the 250 trivial is the default setting for all crafted items on the site.

There is NO way this is a 250 triv combine! My enchanter has a skill of 112, and succeeded 4 out of 5 combines with 2 skill ups. This was using electrum + geode... I find it hard to believe this would be a 250 triv and have 4 rings to show for 5 tries.. Maybe one, cause that would be a fluke..

Well it is a new expansion, they probably got alot of stuff to work out before all this stuff is working the way it should.
