Maybe if your lucky enough to have the drops to make an obsidianwood bow, or have the guild power to mass murder gods to get better bows...myself i like the 15ac and 11agi wis and sta and a save!!

But i guess im not a good ranger then, sure beats my bow a lil bit.

IMHO this is a pretty good bow for any class except a ranger or warrior. By this level, both those classes probably have much better in their inventory. Rogues would benefit more than knights simply because their archery skill caps much higher.

By level 14, archery maxes out for knights. Back then, using a 21/39 bow with 4-damage crafted arrows, I was never able land a shot over 16 damage. By level 40, arrows hits as often, and did as much damage as bare-hands. With our spells, having to carry a bow and arrows is a waste of the range and inventory slots.

This bow would make a very nice range item for the mid-50's knight who doesn't have a better range item - simply for the stats. I'd roll on this only if no one else in the party needed it, and if I won the roll, I'd just hand it to my Bazaar mule.

you are all missing the one BIG thing here..... where are you gonna get a +18 ac item 15 on the bow and 3 from the AGI. if a ranger is going to be up slugging it out in the front lines, it would make a great range item for him or any other class listed.... just my 2cp worth

This is pretty bad bow, period. Any ranger worth his/her salt should have a better one by the time s/he is lvl 55. On the other hand, were it not for the recommended level this would be quite nice.

What they should do to this and other LDON drops is give them the extra augment slots to make them worth acquiring.

agreed, recommended makes this look outdated to other bows of the same level needed to acquire.

Actually, this would be an ok pulling bow for a dwarf paladin. They could use the AC and wisdom and Really use the agility. Agreed this isn't a good bow for a ranger. But even my dwarf warrior would like to have it.

I agree, if this was Ranger only yeah it would be junk, but paladin, shadowknight, rogue, and warrior can all benifit from the 15 ac in the bow slot, as well as the sta and save. Good pulling bow for them and great benifits from the ac and stats. Especially for paladin with that wis on it

You bet OrcMugger, thats exactly right.

I am an Sk that did not even use a bow until level 60. Even with a paultry skill in this area, the stats and of course a cool bow graphic are what its about.

I have a 55 paladin that's still using a goranga Idol in the range slot. This would be a great upgrade for me. For a ranger? Nah, they would have better.
