i have done a good dozen of rujark adventures by now and havent seen this spear yet. it must be shy :)
From Magelo looks like a lower level range. 20-40 level range mobs. See http://eq.magelo.com/item/67189
Just in case you're doing it at 60+, you're probably too high. Shroud to a 20 Wiz, then they are pretty easy to solo.
Got from first pull with group 33 group leader and a 41, plus mercs. a faithful peon. Got 3 total on one mission. About 60-65 kills total.

According to my searches, this is the best 2HP out there if you want to skill up on a pet. Low damage, low delay.
Now if you want to skill up and still do damage, Two-Tined Pitchfork is the way to go.

Even though this majorly sux, it would be the first Bard / Rogue usable 2H Piercer.
actually click my bard link below... windforce ... the Gor was the only bard 2hp existing in game ... =( ... now they come out with this crp...
