yes it does stack with AA's :)
I'm prolly the only one to care, but the item name in the database is Rokyls Channeling Crystal where it should be Rokyls Channelling Crystal.

Does the EE3 Effect (15% extension) stack with the AA abilities the chanters get for a 5, 15, 30, and 50% extension on their buff spells with spell casting reinforcement, and reinforcement mastery?
The reason I am asking, with this and all your Reinforcment line, an enchanter can extend his KEI up to 65% more, leaving a KEI cast for a whopping 4 hours and some change.

Extended Enhancement items (including items with effects like Zephyr of Brell) do stack with Spell Casting Reinforcment AAs, but there is an overall cap of 50% extension.
So, someone who has Spell Casting Reinforcment Mastery is already at the cap, and EE items don't extend his buffs further.

There is absolutely no cap on Extended Enhancement and the AA's. I would love to add 65% to the duration of my hastes/KEI's when I get that high, would be awesome for raids that last for long periods of time.

just paid 4500p for my enchanter and I for Amulet of Insight. Both have the same effect and I have better on both my chars. I got it for raid buffing and selling KEI in the nexus that lasts 2hrs - a good selling point if more than 1 enchanter in the zone. Made what I paid back in a few hours in the nexus, the effect is worth it for enchanters.

I just paid 4k on Saryrn last night.....
Hard to compete with the other chanters and their *extended KEI* as opposed to my *regular KEI* ....worthwhile to me if it really works...but someone said it may not work on group buffs....will see soon :P

It works fine on Groups buffs to level 60.
Consider going for the 8th Coldain Prayer Shwal.
The Focus Effect on that sucker effects level 65 spells and below.

Actually, the focus effect on it is what has made it so valuable. Mind, it's only super value is to Enchanters now.

If I equip this to cast my buff and then remove it will the effect still have the extended time? Or does it have to be worn for the duration?

I would guess that you could take it off after casting. Reasoning: You buff someone else, it will last just as long as if you buff someone else, and there is no way for that person 2 hours down the road if the item is equipped or not.

At lvl 50, below the 200 soft cap, 1 int equals 10 mana, and 5mana per above that cap. So for a lvl 50 post cap this would be better than a 10int item. Plus ac10 and 50hp? This is far better an item than you give it credit for. GBS is only 9int and SvM10, and runs 3k to 5k, about the same price as this. Your right about one thing though, it's even more uber to the necro community.

Necro .. well maybe you do value those stats and might even pay 5k for it.. but it is my opinion you would be better off taking that 5k and spending it on a slot that is actually difficult to find those big stats for. primary and secondary are not difficult slots to fill with high stat giving items.

The EE3 is what drives the cost up on this, not the stats.
Of course you can never discount the Fashion factor. While you may value stats above all else, alot of people want to "look cool" too.

What is special about it? The fact that by the time you get this item, int is not an object, but 50mana is surely desired. Not to mention 50hp for a caster can mean the difference between life and death at times.

My mage uses it, and will continue to use it.
Granted, this would be SO MUCH BETTER had it been Range instead, but oh well.....

Actually Castersrealm and eqprices (when they're up) has them from 20K to 35K depending on the server. Obviously on Rathe (My Server) they go for about 10K due to the fact that everyone has one and they are somewhat as common as a FBSS. On newer servers, you might expect to see them as trade only and possibly go for up to 25K in price due to the rarity and the exteme danger in getting this particular item. It also has some effects of Channeling. Not sure what level it starts. Hope this helps

NOT anymore, this item would be great for any enchanter, now that Extended Enhancement III is on it... and before anyone starts going on rampage, let me remind you of one thing about Extended Enhancement III:
1: Increase spell durations up to 15%
2: Restriction: Spells level 60 and lower
Now, what do us enchanters spend most of our time doing?
It's about 2 extra minutes for Swift Like the wind, and about 20 more minutes for Kei.
I'd love one, but don't have the cash... time to get back on the naggy raids :)
