I picked up one of these in the Bazaar for my lvl 14 Druid for only 40pp. The +Agility is very nice, as it improves your ability to dodge blows, which is very useful for a caster! At my lvl, the +35 mana is good also.
AGI does NOT effect your ability to dodge blows thats a huge misconception of agi it only raises your AC and it takes a lot to raise AC a significant amount i know this im a monk who has asked all the questions on the monk forum :p
This item is usless except for those that have a begger on them. Especailly for the classes that can use it, why would a cleric or a bard or a shammy need 5 agi??? It should be somthin like 100 mana 10 wisdom, the name is cool but the stats suck.
Well, you gain a large AC bonus for hitting 75 agi...... so, if you had nothing else, this COULD be useful.. There are a plethora of uses for various items in the game... don't assume though....
An ignorant comment always brings a smile to my face.
This is a nice low to mid-level item. My cleric's base agility is 70. With this item I raise it to 75 and gain huge increases in AC (more than by using a shield.)
Additionally, do you have any idea how many points of wisdom = 35 mana at, say 20th level? In that range you're getting 3 to 4 mana per point of wisdom, which means this item is BETTER than a CGS or the much-sought-after-Testament of Vaneer. Eventually your mana gains for wisdom will be high enough to render this useless.
In the low-end game, however, this is a very nice item.
