Started camping this to make bane weapons. Had 1 drop, first named kill. 6 days later and still haven't had one drop. I've killed about 50 or so named skele's and it's starting to gripe me.
Had one drop today off Hilog. no trade and the person that had the bow cant use it so useless once the smith actually does a combine for the bow. /shrug

This camp is total BS! First of all the drop rate is unreal and it is impossible to camp it since you get numerous adds like no tomorrow. I go to try to hold a camp thinking I got it made with just two mobs in a cubby when actually I wasn't when I got all the surrounding mobs on me.

Vex Thal key? Camping the stuff for this will have you thinking fondly on the Green Metal camp (so easy.. so relaxing.. so frequent..)
Breakdown in Communication quest? DO NOT DO IT.
You will throw your computer out the window without opening it first.

Tonight on E-Marr I had 3 of these drop in relatively fast order (45 minutes) and then nothing. I have noticed that shard drops tend to follow a similar pattern, and I would think that if you do see this dropped, keep killing. Possibly this might save some people some pain if they need alot of this for bane weapons.

Is this still no drop on FV server?
anyone no if u can put this in forg and get an alt or a frend to go into forg and it still be there anyone try? so they can do combin just an idea dont on if it works

Note the rarity is listed as "common" That is a load of pig sheet. This is a very rare drop from named skellies. I have been on the the killing of over 50 named skellies and only seen 1 green metal drop. If you are in hopes of getting this quickly, you will be disappointed. Plan on many trips to the mines and for it to be camped already by others trying to get the green metal. This place has become a bottle neck on Luclin server.

Man i went with guild so i could get my 60 warrior his piece for emp and first killdropped it
When I was camping this with my guild, there were two other named with the last name Soriz and Kylong.
If I remember correctly, there were five ancient Iksar tribes: Kylong, Obulus, Kunzar, Jarsath, and Nathsar. I wonder what the name Soriz means, since the last name of the rest of the named is after the ancient Iksar tribes. Can anybody shed some light on this? =)

heck i hate this item, it's drop rate is rare as hell !!
after 2 days and 10 hours of AEing the mines, me and my guild only got 2 of these !

Our guild just spent 5 hours AEing the mines (the only way to really farm the metal btw) and we got 7 to drop, along with like 20 shards. We must have killed 350 skeletons and 20 named. The only bad part about AEing is that you have to sit there for 30 minutes till the place repops before you can pull it all again :P

Camping this with a normal group is some kind of fun and the exp isn't that bad if you consider that those mobs are below level 56 ;)
