Glowing Black Stone  

 

The Glowing Black Stone was the first item in the game that I ever saw being auctioned for 10,000 pp. That just left me slack-jawed. Of course, at the time, I couldn't imagine ever HAVING 10,000 plat, much less spending it on one item.

I suppose it's an interesting lesson in EQ economics to consider that a Stein of Mogguk is a better item to equip -- more INT, better additional stats - but the Stein is a whole lot cheaper. The only thing the GBS has going for it is that you can hold it in your primary hand and still equip a Stein in your left.

Just to let you know, Pyzjn conned yellow to my 12 mage so i don't think ya have to be lvl 25 unless she lvl jumps all day.

OK, I read up on her, too. I found several posts of people adament about not killing the dreads, so I tried it. This is very hard, because the dreads MUST remain undisturbed the entire day after they spawn. They get up and walk to designated spots and then return. You have to protect them on their walks, i.e. one of them walks to other side of the road to Surefall, and I had to hail a guard so he wouldn't kill it on it's way back across the road. I've seen her only 5 times and all 5 times were when the dreads remained undisturbed the entire day. Good luck, because a wandering gnoll, newbie, or Miller will agro them and mess up the spawn. Is this the fool proof way to spawn her? I don't know, but it worked 5 out of 5 times. Do what you will with this information. G/L!! (and no, I haven't gotten a GBS yet. =P)

OK well pyzin might spanw if Tovax makes it to the ruins so make sure no one kills him. then there is a 2-3 pysin might spwan then there is a 1-5 chance she will drop the GBS{ short for Glowing Black Stone} correct me if i am wrong this is just what i heard
