i might just be really unlucky but on mischief ive made at least 6 trips to ssra and spent at 2-5 hours minimum each time clearing everything but the basement nonstop and just cant get this key to drop. random loot might be making this one harder rather then easier. only seen the other key drop 1 time in all of this.

I have killed Commander Zazuzh countless times over the span of many days / nights and have yet to see the key.
I'm trying to obtain the key for the achievement.
Has anyone seen him drop the key as of late?
He drops the idol every time.

I'm in the same boat. It's just very rare
I've been camping him for the key to get the achievements today.
I cleared the first floor 3 times, he popped on each of the clearances at different positions.
He dropped 2 x idols and the key on his third death.
Looks like I may have been lucky with him - no luck on the other Commander yet though.

I have read this key opens door to High priest and Arch Lich, but does it also open door to assassin's chamber and then along to Emporers chamber?

This key definitely doesn't open the HP/XTC door (not sure if it opens the assassin doors, I'll check it out.. I don't think so, though).

Yes, both Zazuzh's Key and Zerozsh's key(sp?) go on your keyring after you have used them once.

uncommon drop, not common. would say 1 out of 3 or 4 kills
1-3 is very very very common
