Planes of PowerDied twice getting to the dock, got rezzed. Anyway Caught 12 in 3.5 hours, skill of 129 (when I left), just regular pole and fishing bait. Nothing fancy.

L85 BST with 200 fishing skill, regular pole & bait
After about 30 minutes by the waterfall my results were:
Dagger 1, Sandals 3, Fresh Fish 24, Fish scales 15, Crawdad 6, Waterleaf scale 14, Nightmare Cichlid 10

Got 6 Nightmare Cichlid in 5 minutes at -450, 1680 along with several Waterleaf Scales, fishing skill 204.

Sat on the Dock just across the water from the waterfall. Caught 2 of them with skill 100 in about an hour. Never seen nor smelled a nob once I was safe on the dock.

I followed Donolast's directions and ending up falling off the cliff anyway, since I had lev I just floated to a clear area and fished at Loc pos 128 pos 338 pos 28. There was a slarghilug around the corner but he never agroed
For one stack of bait I got my 2 nightmare cichlid, as well as some crawdad, waterleaf, fresh fish, fish scales, and rusty daggers (Skill 182).

I caught 1 at skill level 17 and another at 24

I caught 2 Cichlids at skill 110
Looks also to be a safe spot at /loc -267, 1471. At lvl 65 have not had any agro at all there while visible.

There is a place to fish without having to go down the cliff. Right next t the waterfall on the cliff you can fish. I'm not sure how far upriver you can do it, but i was fishing at loc +178 +489.
You will occasionally get aggro so you'll want to keep SOW up, but this only happens every 20-30 minutes so it's not really a big problem.

There is a safe place to fish in PON at location at POS 1205, POS 370. This spot is marked by a small square shaped "U" cutout spot in the cliff.
I get here buy zoning in, running north about 100 yards, (There is a dead tree here that looks like a treant but isn't)Then I run north east a few feet to a big hill sized stone. I run around the stone (Start north around the stone then bear east to go atound it) There is a treant in the way that I usally kill but I'm sure there's a way around it. From the east side of the rock to the cliff there are no mobs. Just head east to the cliff and follow it south a short distance 'till you see the "U" shaped cutout and float down. There is a slarghilug to the right there but he's not close enough for arggo.. He's Kind'a cute.
I like to Feign Death while I fish 'cause if someone trains stuff around the mobs sometimes like to walk back to their spawn spot by going along the shore.
