I got this, about a week ago. Honestly its a beastlord item, all stats usable, focus is almost calling directly to beasts...

I hate getting into these arguments but the focus is calling to spellcasters in general.

It's just good for whoever can use it. Monks can use the melee stats, druids can use just about all the stats (str for carrying, sta for hp, agi for more AC, and cha for selling+charming), and the beasts can use everything. Avoidance is good for all the classes, accuracy is good for both monk and beast (moreso for monk I'd say because they're only course of action is melee while beasts can play pet cleric.) Everybody loves resists and regen.

It's got ups for every class. Yes, hybrids generally can make use of every stat, but keep in mind that druids get more mana per wis also and monks more AC from agi (or maybe I'm wrong on that one.)

Besides, if you're fully time geared, you've got maxed stats anyways, so it doesn't matter much either way. All that you look for is focus effects, secondary effects (avoidance, etc.) and resists.

First, let me say that I agree with brudish that this is a good item for any of the classes listed.

Now, what I really want to comment on is:
Quote:

My main is geared in Time+ equipment. Mostly Qvic, with a mix of time and Inktu'ta pieces. My main stat (wis, he's a cleric) is beyond maxxed. However, hias str, int, charisma and agility are below the cap of 340 (str is lowest at 270). Basically, what I am saying is that time geared does not mean all stats will automatically be maxxed.

I concede to that point now. I was young and foolish. However, by the time you are time geared, raising your non-primary stats to max isn't nearly as vital, which sticks to a similar trajectory as my previous point.

at this level, Beastlords don't play "pet cleric" any more. Pets die too quickly. Mostly just try to keep them alive so you can use the recourse effects from BE and Growl of the Panther.

Wristband screams "Beastlord"

Looking at this now being almost nearly time geared or equivelent, I wouldn't really be interested in this over a wristband with a damage focus like increased fire or cold damage up to 70 spells (something nice like 30%+) or a burning affliction. The regen, AC, agi, mana, resists, and avoidance are all really awesome however and wouldn't mind removing my crappy Emoush wrist for this. I'm sure since the beastlord is more likely to be getting hit while casting that the increased speed is slightly more useful for them. I'd pass this onto a beastlord if my bracers didn't have only ~110-140 mana on them.

raid wise = monk

monk can use the hp,sta,agi,avoidance and resists.
i know everyone else can use those and raids need resists. Im saying that pulling we need avoidance and hp and resists only slightly less than a tank.

groupwise = all

hp = all
mana = dru bst
str = bst mnk
sta = all
agi = mnk bst (usually druids dont get hit)
wis = dru bst
regen = mnk bst (again, druids shouldnt get hit)
resists = all
cha = all/none (depending on how you look at it)
avoidance = mnk bst (again, no hitting druids)
accuracy = bst mnk

now i know bst can use all but its listed in order most used. bsts are a DPS class from start. monks, at time lvl, are that good dps, but are awesome pullers. mnk dps = typical chanter, bst dps = wizzie (without burning). monks dont get good dps till start of GoD. but mnks need hp and stuff to avoid hits while pulling.

I would hope they work as you describe and that they stack. An Avoidance 15 and an Avoidance 10 item would give you 25 hopefully. If anyone knows for sure, like from a parse or other reliable means please post.

Avoidance amounts do stack yes. Accuracy and Strikethough Stack, but not with each other of course. Shielding %, DoT Shielding %, and Spell Shileding % stack, again not with each other. Skill modifiers like Dodge %, Riposte %, Meditation % and Smithing % do not stack. There are hard caps on some or all of these modifiers. For example max worn shielding is 35% with the release of GoD. I can't say where avoidance caps if it does at all.

good lord the drops coming out of time are insane... hope people dont start complaing saying it should go to druid/bst first before monk beacuse of the wis mana though any of these classes should have an equal shot at it all though its most likeley going to a druid then bst beacause of the focus effect.

It will go to whomever gets it.
and actually all N all this is better for a Beastlord than either Druid or Monk.

Beastlord can use every single stat on it in spades.
Plus the extra avoidance and accuracy.

As a Beast i need that avoidance WAY more than a Monk, number one Monk already has higher avoidance, number 2 if he is getting hit he can just FD, i have to stand there and take it.

Beast also get very little armor with decent AC on it.
Monks do, and druid it doesnt matter much.
The +5 regen anyone can use, the 23% spell haste whom dosent have that or better already anyway.

Counterpoint - Beastlords in raid guilds that have reached this level should not be getting hit much whereas Monks still pull certain encounters. Therefore the monk would need Avoidance much more than the BL.

That being said I hate these "which class should get the item" debates. Just making the point that you can usually argue for any class and make some valid points. Each guild decides in it's own way. <shrug>

I'm a monk and would put in to loot this item. If it went to a guild BL first then I would lsap him on the back and say congrats! Every upgrade to an individual member's equipment helps the guild as a whole.

Really wranglir hit it on the head, as a bst sure I'd love it, but the monk that won our first drop got a harty /gu grats!! from me. He had the points to spend on it, I didn't clean and simple ;)

And as a counter-counter point, when not on raids, I end up as MT in many groups.. ldon, poe, whatever. People grab bst for tanks when real tanks are unavailable because we can grab aggro very well, and take hits pretty well too. (before this even starts, I am in no way saying bst make great, good, or even desired tanks, just simply that we can make an workable one when on others are available or you need a slower or something)

One thing I wish is that they would quantify what avoidance, accuracy, etc. Sure +15 avoidance is nice, but if its +15 to 1000 skill then its a 1.5% increase... nothing earth-shattering for sure.

I don't think the +15 is +15%... All the tradeskill boost items actually have the % symbol on there... I think these +15's are actually like +15 points to your skill... I'm thinking these phantom skills wouldn't be on a scale of 1000... Probably more in the neighborhood of 500 if it is indeed on a higher scale than a normal skill (252).
